Cordelia, what a great frank and heartwarming video this is! I love hearing about your life and I’m so sorry about your loss. You have really turned your health and psyche around haven’t you?! I’m 57 and I believe I too had an epiphany in my 50s. I think it was thinking about mortality and the time I had left in this world. No massive health scare or big event having happened. I was obese, drank too much and diagnosed diabetic though. That was the kick up the bum I needed to start taking back control of my health. I’m 3 years no drinking, lost 5 stone and changed my job two years ago. Life is definitely different but I’m so much more healthy, mindful and grateful! I think in your 50s it comes to you to be the best version of yourself you can be and I’m getting there. I still have weight to lose but I’m infinitely better than I was in my 40s and looking forward to ‘old age’ with a lot more confident outlook on my health. Thanks for this video; you have a great way about you lovely. Ever thought of writing a book? Xx

I really love your content, but this was next level. I stopped eating gluten because I had Graves’ disease and watching my dairy too. But my most liberating step was cutting toxic people out of my life. And that included family members. If you want a better second half, you really do need to do some spring cleaning 😊

I had to change my life when I was 56 when I got glandular fever which lead to ME/CFS which meant I had to give up a job I enjoyed and had been doing for 20 years never thought I would stop working so early but I now appreciate a much quieter life. My life isn’t always easy but it’s very precious and I so appreciate the small things that before I might have overlooked. Keep up the good work xx

Sometimes, adding hyaluronic acid can actually make you dryer, which is the case for me. If you already have moist skin, it actually will draw moisture out of your skin. Just a heads up to be very cautious and careful listen to what your skin is telling you.

I don`t want to rain on your parade but I have just had 2 cataract operations and the surgeon warned me - very sternly - NEVER,NEVER PUT ANY COSMETICS INSIDE THE EYE ,the skin that is pink and appears when you pull the lid down !! Sorry to disagree but for older people especially it can cause a lot of damage ( so he said ) It looks terrific on you but can certainly be dangerous. I love what you do but had to point this out x

They do not sell Castor Oil in a glass bottle in my county. Every cast royale brand comes in a plastic bottle, some of them in a clear plastic bottle and they say organic and hexane free. I believe for the most part that they don’t want you to be healthy it’s all about profit they could care less what products you put on your body or you eat in the United States all they care about is profit.

That’s horrible! Nothing should be put on the inner area of the eye! You will be in danger of getting nasty infections.

Tinting eyelashes helps if you do not lie mascara etc

Too much moisturizer makes eye makeup come off and wind up on the lower lid. At least that’s what happens to me. So, I wear very little moisturizer, hardly any eyeliner on the upper lid and no foundation at all. That’s been my solution for many years now.

I gua sha in the morning with CO and then do my makeup and I’ve gotten so much compliments on my skin

I use the French Castor Oil you mentioned , fantastic , I dap one drop gently over face at night , leaves skin feeling very soft & supple , also use on body after shower blending with body lotion , don’t find it to be very sticky , yet to feel benefits to some arthritis I have , maybe need to ingest it too , because you can ! Obviously individual check & choice though 😊
