One of the most beautiful gems of Europe, for many quite unknown, the city of Oradea stands out for its marvellous architecture, a blend of Secession, Art Nouveau, Baroque, New Romanian and Neo-classic. Thanks for your kind words. As for prices it depends heavily on the location but surely there is something for any budget, on average lower than Romania's. Happy travels to you too!
Behave at night, i live here, is not as safe as they picture it, and if you get into troubles, cops are hand in hand with gypsies and won't do anything but to blame you. Avoid night time, often even after 21 in between 23 is awful. I don't even say of after 23. But if you don't go everyday out like me, then you might not meet many problems, just be safe.
Many people around the world would like to live in such a safe city.
I may say you could be right, just today some gypsies "repaired" my house roof and asked me a price four times higher than normal.
