Marines are not called soldiers unless one might call them soldiers of the sea like one might hear in the days of old. Otherwize Marines are called Marines and always with a capital M. A capital M when referring to a US Marine is a matter of grammer, being a proper noun. I believe your fourth grade teacher would feal a failure with your poor grammer skills.
