Bien que graphiquement et musicalement moins reussi cette version est plutot fidele a l'arcade avec les niveaux 50 m et 75 m qui 'apparaissent a partir du 2 eme et 3eme tour et des éléments qui n'apparaissent pas dans certaines versions comme le chapeau ou meme l'absence du niveau 50 m

I was farming and managed to buy the map, besides that you find the body on the ground, when you are going to leave the area on the other side, the entrance is covered by some wood that you must break. And then near the kind of church instead of having one tree there are two, one will drop a shield from the forest.

@@onidensetsu3721 oh, my goal was to communicate a soft disappointment with the video. I don't think it's bad; I just expected it to be something else is all. Since there is little footage of King's Field IV in general, I figured there wouldn't be any content covering all the magics in the game. I'm playing it myself right now, and immediately maxed the forest carver because it's my favourite weapon. I'm currently working on the fire sword, and I'd like to get informed on what the best/coolest weapon magic would be, aside from the Moonlight Blade's orbital strike at level 3, so that I know what weapon to work on next. That was it, really!

I brought the speed issue up to an "Expert" & he just ignored the fact it was running fast & only talked about the color blending thing??? Like who cares about the color blending when the game doesnt even run the same speed. I still need to check this one out with the new firmware.

This looks great! The MSX's choppy scrolling is definitely a sore spot though. It should be possible to use emulation hacks to get the MSX improvements to a romhack of the game using sprite replacements and what not. Hopefully one day some kind person will take on this project!
Hello EnigmaHood yes this has been done by very talented people. There is a "Nes" speed version out there. FF is not too bad when actually playing but im sure its slow to watch hehe.

Compared to the YM2612 version that sought to imitate the YM2151 original, the YM2413 version has a really authentic "lo-fi" vibe to it. The hiss upon recording is the cherry on top that really captures it perfectly
