you can build any character to anything you like. That said, typically you can tell a character's "main stat" during the creation screen. you will notice the main stat most often getting the highest rolls, and the "off" stats getting the lowest. If you are playing the Dryad, for example, you will see her highest stat rolls are most often in the wisdom stat; this tells you the author primarily though she should be played as a mage. This is intended as a very rough guide however. If you want your Dryad to smack people around with uppercuts, nothing is stopping you from building her that way.

Ah good. this game does not stand for machismo much. You will have a far better time at this difficulty level. Still challenging, mind. you're still not guaranteed to win, but it will be much less frustrating, and you will get time to learn synchronies and better strategies. know what to look for that will carry you the distance.

when picking your stats, set agility to 4, because you will get 2 ap, and you can't get another until it 8, and that will suck too many points off of your other stats early on. usually, the rest will work itself out.

Why is the icon green 46:55 You can go past 100% for each attack, but only for one upgrade! the green means you have reached the maximum of this attack within a "uncommon" value. If, for say, you would have ended up with 119%, it would have been golden (legendary!). You are at 105.1% (uncommon)

You had the most ridiculous run. You probably had a 99.99999 percentile run. This felt so weird hahahahh 😂

That one-hit at 25:42 was nasty

You can figure out, who is an enemy and who is an ally, by looking under their feet, there is a red color for the enemy and the green one for the ally.

There is the undo button, which you can use to experiment. You can see what happens and then undo. Great to learn the game.

It seems like the main reason you lost the first round 7 min in was because you took that armor that have strength and protection instead of 2 extra movement points. You can have all the damage in the world but if you can only move one space all it takes is one ranged unit to smoke you

When there is a red skull on a health bar of an enemy it means, your next attack (or an ability) will kill them.

I really enjoy your time with this game! It's very genuine and lets me be on the edge of the seat right there with you. The last roguelike that caught my eye got covered by chiefly one youtuber and the video titles all were like "YOU WONT BELIEVE HOW OP THIS BUILD IS" And it was like... There was no mystery. I much prefer your type of content these days. Keep up having fun doing this, so I can vicariously live through you!

I played Mortal Glory (1) quite a lot. I liked it a lot as it is inspired by "Areena" series, especially "Areena 5" which is very similar fantasy-gladiator management & battle game but with updated elements and few twists. I loved the 1st MG game. But this sequel.... doesn't look promising. Is this mode the only one? To me battles, graphics, music and sound effects look way too similar to 1. Which alone would be fine if they (he? i think its mostly 1 person project) added new spells, characters and maybe animations or something. But also i think this new map system works worse than either of the game modes 1st game had. Because you have less information and control for how and what you want to build your team. Did i understand it correctly that you can't even plan the route around having full team before last fight!? Like.. the shops show 3 icons and always have mystery item... but if you don't see a character on the shop you might not get one? And you don't even see rewards from the battles either beforehand. Why is there a roguelite map if there is little reason to plan your routes!? I feel like this 2nd game either needs new gamemode (more similar to 1st game maybe) or this gamemode needs reworking. Meanwhile i'll happily play 1st game and maybe buy DLC if i already didn't.

Gotta love that SMG. And you should definitely do some FTL! Been a while since I've played it but the memories are definitely good.

If you haven't figured it out by the end of the video (about 80% through the vid) your current evac timer is in upper left, if you unlock the evac level, you get one every 2 minutes, if you are waiting for a new deepest run, the timer is 5 minutes

Bruh it took my 2 second to realize your auto attack was directional... aka use the mouse to auto attack in that direction.
