I don't understand why ABBYY FineReader is mentioned here? I just bought an ix1300. I have not installed Finereader; I'm just using ScanSnap's built-in OCR. As far as I can tell, everything you are showing works without Finereader--it extracts vendor names, amounts, etc. The big drawback is that in Receipt mode, it does NOT do "normal" OCR. Want to find the receipt for the hammer or gutter? Good luck--you'll have to open every Home Depot receipt, maybe going back years. Or did you buy that at Ace Hardware? I will probably use the Documents profile to create searchable PDFs of receipts, which means I'm back to manually naming each file, and no CSV tallying.

Is it better to get the 24 outlet or the 13 outlet one if I plug in 10 things? As of rn I use a 3000joules insignia protector with 10 outlets being used out of 11

When you scan & upload a receipt to QBO does it OCR the GST amount as well? is there a field for GST?

I have two years' worth of Scanned items. I want to move all of the files in PDF format to a Flash Drive. It's saved on the Microsoft Cloud. From the iX1600, I can move the Files one by one into my HP Windows computer and then transfer them to a flash drive. which could take hours. Is there a faster way to move them? I want to place the flash drive in a safe location as a backup.

I had the same thing 5 months ago, it was very frightening I was in hospital for 8 days it was cause by coughing the Ambulance people were wonderful. I thought I was going to die I could not breathe. I also had a chest tube in it was in for 5 days.

Had the tube inserted between the lungs and the ribs.It was done by a lady doctor i was fully conscious .The doc would stick the needle and numb it then move farther in with the needle and numb that .Doc then inserted the drainage tube .I only felt a pinch one time with the needle .I did feel the pressure of the doc doing the procedure.I didnt have any pain while the tube was in for several days. Later on before my Tavr procedure two doc put a needle in my back and pulled out a liter of flued

Thanks Sean, mine was not seated properly and the door was not closing. I installed the guide correctly on the bottom but did not see there were also two parts that needed to be locked in as well on the upper section.

If you are buying this to scan sportscards DO NOT. It will not work for even the thinest toploaders even though their are sports cards dealer who have published YouTUBE reviews saying it does

Magnets would be more durable than the plastic insertion points. The tips and the slot are going to wear down or snap with repeated insertions and removals.

Do you have a video that recommends a scanner best if use is primarily photos? I have thousands of old photos so will need an external storage. Thanks much.

What is the hardware difference with this Chromebook edition? It appears that no USB connection is required, so it works wirelessly. Does this mean I can use a standard Windows or Mac iX1600 with a Chromebook as well?

How exactly are you getting yours to scan multiple pages? I’ve tried several different stacks of documents that I need to upload, fanned them, etc., but the scanner just feeds the entire stack all at once. I read reviews and checked Reddit, and it seems to be a common issue. I went through their troubleshooting steps, but I still haven’t had any luck getting the scanner to work correctly.
