The one you are talking about is the vision feature that can see thru camera and talk aswell , that feature is not released yet.

It's 4o, just not the cool voice feature that isn't out yet. But the model is 4o

Also , the traffic on the 4o version is alot right now , everyone's trying it for the first time , some of the time it says that the servers are busy. Sometimes when i use it for a few minutes , it will get me back to GPT 3.5 and the option for GPT4o is greyed out since I'm not using the premium version with first priority access. Hope that gives a more broader view of the current situation.

Just update it to the latest version from the playstore or app store and start a convo , hold the replied answer there will be an option for selecting version ,4o is selected by default. Hope that helps 😊

But to be clear, it's the 4o text-and-image-only model. The audio is still going through the old Whisper-to-GPT-to-TTS three-layer pipeline. The full multimodal version of GPT-4o -- which can do native text, audio, and image input and output directly -- is still "rolling out to trusted partners" first and not available to the public yet.
