2018 was a rough year for me, and I don't even play Mario, but watching the speedrun races of Invictus is a very memorable period from that year, as sad as that may sound to some, but I still revisit this song every few months. Sometimes I would pull this video up, set it to Loop and let it repeat while I do other stuff. You likely never found out about this, but about three months ago SiIvaGunner used this track as the "joke" in one of their rips, remaking it in the style of Akrillic from Plok! The rip has 6,000 more views than this video, and nobody in the comment section was able to identify the joke until probably about 18 hours ago. I'm happy they managed to lead me to your gold mine of a channel.

awesome!! i love the portrayal of the minister as a powerful, intimidating, but maybe also tragic character. and true to your style, there's tons of thoughtfulness and detail put into every aspect of the song, i feel like i could listen to it many more times and pick up on something new each listen (i somehow only just noticed the choir swell in Pattern 22, for example 🤭) . also that transition at 0:55-0:56 is so cool amazing work, as always!
