If you get an uber busker amp, you can run the mixer off it's usb.

i was looking at the si pro plus this the makie soundbox and i have to say this EV 12 actually dissapointed me sound wise more than i was expecting ... its not that portable and its actually not that nice sounding but you did not have a good effects on and you had a shit mic,,the makie has many more gadgets blue tooth and mixer that detaches and you can live stream and record stright to a memory card and control it from detachable mixer that connects to the mic stand .... the s1 sounds clear and is smaller more portible and you can add wireless mic and charging and same for guitar wireless extra for same price and its portable but the makie has live features and i think it sounds better than this speaker ....so for me i was greatly disapointed ....its not really portable to be compared to the other 8 inch speakers and my normal PA in clubs would of course blow it away ...they are yamaha DSR 12s so much more better but yeah these are for the big gigs ... Therefore I think this is over kill for a busker personally and not really that portable and I would go for the makie soundbox cos of the built in looper n mixer and recording or bose S1 pro plus ...both of which are more portable this ev thing is like stuck inbettween being not really powerful enough for big gigs and to much for the busker to carry round...the weather rating is the best feature on the EV ...

My dilemma with this song is the key change near the end of the studio version (the duet version). Its not like i can change the capo in lightning speed😅

slight sound difference between all three. the only thing i found was added melody notes "stood out" more on the luxe. my normal bone pins were warm and the plastic---uh sounded plastic😎

The cover of “I’m Yours” is where the Martin Bridge Pins sound best to me. Remember everyone, most “bone” pins you have are not made of real bone or anything close. They call the color white “bone” too 😅 If you look at the Martin options, they offer a “Bone” version as well. I’d recommend you/OP to confirm you bought real bone pins…

Great comparison, thanks a lot for your test. So, everybody can hear the clear, transparent good sound of the EVERSE 8 and the more musty sound without the treble / highs of the Bose S1 Pro Plus. Have Bose forgotten the Tweeter for the high frequencies?

Thank you so much for posting this great comparison. To my ears the Everse sounds clearer but could probably benefit from some EQ as the EQ of the Bose sounds slightly "sweeter". I am considering this purchase myself and am leaning toward spending slightly more for the Everse 8 as it is louder and has more effects and compressor. Out of the box though the Bose sounds great. I don't thing either really better. Curious how the Mackie Show Box compares to these. Subscribed! In other tests I have heard on UA-cam the Everse and even Everse 12 sounds horrible - I just think you were more "professional" in how you conducted your tests. My goal is just decent sound for guitar and vocals at a resonable volume. Would you recommend the Everse 12 or Everse 8 or something else like an AER 80 with portable power supply.

Been using the L8 for 3 years on a Win 10 PC. Got a P8 now for mobile stuff on a Win 11 laptop through Ablteton Live 11. Wont work!! Neither the L8 or P8 will work with Live 11 on a Win 11 system!!! ahhhhh
