It just so happens l have been a Flamin Groovies Fan forever. The frist time l heard it it was perfect. The Yum Yums did a great job. Sometimes you have to let the music be what it is. If you cage it, you will never have the product you desire. Blessings to everyone. Even you my dear Amanda. One day you will understand a watched pot never boils. I forgive you , dear. The Flamin Groovies are lighting outside of a bottle. Their creativity was never understood when it came out, but now everyone loves them. It's so sad that art, is judged by people who rarely understand it.

Takes notice* Look I'll probably get shot down by groovies fanboys but while they wrote one of the undoubtedly greatest pop songs ever in shake some action, they didn't play the greatest version of it imo. Tough call I know. For the past 30+ years I've considered the hitmens version to be how the groovies should have played it, and Chris masuak and Richard J's guitar solos are the highpoint .. until now. This absolutely rocked out with it #### out. No questions about it. Made my night hearing this. The guitars and drums are so on point it's not funny, and that solo ... I didn't think I'd hear a version that I would enjoy as much as the hitmens for melody, skillful execution and passion, but this one matches it in spades. Congrats .. I'm in a dark place ATM and you temporarily transported me from it to a place where there is sunshine.

Flamin Groovies are such a stellar band.The fact that The FG's are not hugely popular is proof of how fucked up the music industry (and American tastes) are. America likes Taylor Swift.

This song by The Flamin Groovies is such a great song that every band that every band that covers it stays faithful to the original. That is how flawless it is.
