Comes out the vents! remove the bumper and silicone seal the vents. Also suggest removing all the insulation from inside the vents as it's soaked through more than likely. There are two bungs underneath to drain the water out aswell

Anyone ever get this issue fixed?

i had to reseal my self and readjust the control arms on trunk lid open trunk look at the arms and look at gap on and around trunk match up look at seal you can also use dielectric grease on seal to give imprint on inside of the trunk also my focus had slight rear end accident on carfax also dealer gave me 7 of 8 pages of the car fax also does anyone have tire wear on back tires eating up tires change upper control arms to adjustable ones fixed rides smooth

2012 Ford Focus, exact same problem

I have same problem 2012 ford focus se 4 doors only have leak in corners of trunk everything I put back there gets wet I'm sick of it. My trunk is where keep my valuables but not any more I'm about ready set this car on for and drink a beer Ford wants to charge me I'll never buy another Ford ever. It's only got 100,000 miles it should not be leaking.

I have told ford about all the probs with trans, etc. I have adjusted hings seal spots adjusting hinges did help allot but still leaking, but have not tried what sergio said to look at. I thought about it before i will try i may rhino line it do any of you have problems with plastic cracking every where in the car two , poorly made now my back seat bottom cushion wont lock scares me when baby back there!!!!!!!!!!!

HI Steven - I have a leaking focus - water in the trunk, not coming from the lights - did you find and fix your leak? Ta
