In common churches they give that Thanksgiving to orphanages, to help the orphan's.
If its given with proper motive or out of a regenerated heart it's good. But doesn't help those who give get saved. Salvation is a free gift not earned for Christ paid for our Salvation Once and for all. Ephesians 2:8-9. Sadly many people give thinking their giving will earn them a place in heaven ☰. Lack of understanding is taking people to hell sadly. Paying money, crops for the dead to be redeemed is so satanic and really blasphemous. When one dies in sin there's no redemption for the dead. Hebrews says. It is appointed for man to die once then comes judgement Hebrews 9:22. Sadly NAC tells its congregants to pay for their dead and prayers are offered for the dead so are redeemed and earn them place in heaven. Jesus said "Iam the way and the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except through Me " John 14:6. Sadly many are creating their own ways of salvation leading them to the lake of fire. Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus and you will be saved . NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.
