About Chandra Lacombe:
Chandra Lacombe has taken the kalimba to new heights. Originally a 2-finger percussive instrument for melodic patterns, the Brazilian musician and singer brought it to the forefront of composition. By developing a 4-finger technique, he enabled harmonic progression and infinite creativity.
Over 30 years, his repertoire of spiritual music has spanned an array of genres, from gentle mantras to inventive rhythms with distorted guitars. As a touring artist, he has performed in South, Central and North America, the Middle East and Europe. Since 2011, his shows and recordings in Brazil have been performed with Fusão Divina, the band that has sustained his shamanic works.
In Europe, Chandra has a strong foothold in Oslo, Norway, where he visits twice per year. There he also records and releases high quality music featuring world musicians through his partners and friends from Nixi Music.
