Hey, right now I would say they have about a 50/50 chance of being in the Play-offs. Norway need Israel to qualify over Romania. If that Happens, they would be the last team to get a Play-off spot based on the current tables. Hello, yes it does but is pretty unlikely. Kosovo is right behind Azerbaijan in the rankings so they need 3 teams from League C qualifying. As of now, Turkey has qualified, but Kosovo would need both Luxembourg and Kazakhstan to finish Top 2. It's still possible, but not likely to happen, especially with Luxembourg.

Basically none at this point, would need several big upsets like Albania, Slovakia and Romania all not qualifying which looks really unlikely now

Hey, since you guys won your Group you will only face teams from League B, so the potential pool is very limited. In the semi-final, it could be that you face Ukraine or Iceland and maybe Norway, though quite unlikely. Bosnia is gonna be in your path but you can only meet them in the final, also you might face Finland there if they don't qualify :) Hard to say which draw would be the best but I think those teams are all pretty much equal, you can't face any team from any other League...

Hey, sadly for Sweden there is no realistic way they can still qualify. From the group they would need a miracle since they are 7 points behind. And Sweden can't go to the play-offs because they finished very low in League B. Getting a play-off spot is impossible for Sweden, and qualifying from the group basically is as well.

This only applies for group winners. If you won your group, you cannot face a team from a higher league. If you didn't win your group but still reached the playoffs, you can face a team from a higher league (like if you finish second in your group in League B, you can face a team from League A)

@@Britishbjornis First of all, England and all other relegated teams count as League A team for the formation of the playoffs. In the scenario you described, it's exactly how you said. Norway could face Poland and England. All of the winners of League B couldn't.

Yes, it actually does. I did not know about this when I made the video. But this is how it works: If there are less than four teams from League A, B or C that can qualify for the play-offs (because they have already qualified for the tournament), the first spot that still has to be allocated goes to the *best* League D group winner. The NEXT spot however would not go to the other League D group winner, but to the best ranked team in the overall ranking that has not yet qualified. So, only one team from League D could make it. 1. The postitions in the qualifying group have no effect on the play-offs. Only the first and second spot are important. For play-offs, only the Nations League placement matters. 2. Yes, they have a chance. If for example all group winners from League B qualify directly, the play-off tickets go to the next four teams in the ranking. As League B group winners are on position 17-20, this would mean that the teams from position 21-24 get a spot. If now, let's say one of the teams from 21-24 also has qualified via the European Qualifier group, the play-off spot would go to position 25. If Israel has the most points out of the third placed finishers, they would grab that spot. Of course, this scenario is not super likely, but very much possible. If Israel finishes second however, it would be more likely of course.

ok, let's talk about a scenario which all the 21 strongest nation automatically qualify (all the teams in league A) and Serbia, Norway, Sweden,Turkey and the Ukraine. So then which teams are entering to the playoffs? let's say that Turkey, the Ukraine and one of Norway/Sweden/Serbia(what a group) top their groups. Then there will be 2 nation who won group B that hasn't qualified to the euros and 3 nations from group c? So who will be the rest 7 nations to join them? by the way, thanks for responding me until now, I am from Israel and just want to know how important these games are for us, because we have never qualified to the euros😢

@@תומרקורינאלדי So, the process goes from bottom to top. We first will look at Path C. In League C, we have the three group winners. They will be joined by the team on position 37 (the best runner-up of League C). Now Path B. We have two group winners. They will be joined by the two best runner-ups that haven't yet qualified. So, I will just say that Sweden is the best runner-up, therefore the teams on position 22 and 23 would be in. For Path A, we obviously have no teams in League A, so we are going to take the best four nations in the overall ranking that did not yet qualify for the EURO directly or for the play-offs. Therefore, we go back to League B. We will first take the runner-up on position 24. Now we have three spots left. Assuming Serbia finished third, there are three third-place finishers (on positions 25-28) that have not yet qualified. The three spots would go to them. So we would have two group winners, three runner-ups and three third place finishers from League B. As Israel can't finish fourth (due to Russia), a scenario like this would mean they have a virtually guaranteed spot in the play-offs. Therefore, the games are very important. Finishing second of course would increase your chances of being picked if there is another scenario! Good luck to Israel for the rest of qualification, it has been too long without you guys qualifying for major tournaments :)
