I’ve been fishing a little over a year, and have been doing it off my SUP. Learning the ropes as I go and realizing how crazy I am for fishing off an inflatable SUP. When I’m lucky enough to join friends on their boats I do, but there’s something about creeping up on the fish with stealth. I can’t get enough of. It comes with its challenges when the wind and waves pick up, or boaters get too close.. but it’s a risk I’m willing to take!
Now that we are entering winter months, I’m gearing up for ice fishing season, learning all about how it works. Follow my adventures as I navigate the ins and outs of ice fishing!

Hi Katie, have you used the buddy heater? I see that you’re using the heat hog, how does it compare to the buddy heaters?
The heat hog is tried and true!! Have a couple buddy heaters as well and find they work best on the bigger tents (the bigger buddy that is) but I would say I like both! Have had no issues with the heat hog starting wise either!

I can not believe you put Borat at the beginning of your video. I have been talking to the Kazakhstan ice fishing team that is coming to Grand Rapids, Michigan USA for the International Ice Fishing Championship. I told them that Borat is probably giving them a bad name. They thought that was pretty funny. The Championship starts February 11, 2025 I like the close-up of the fish coming through the hole.

I use bobber stoppers I like them better than the yarn. Also if you learn how to tie a uni knot it's the same thing as the yarn if you loose the yarn that came with the slip bobber.

There are three locations that I know of. This was not far from Winnipeg it was roughly west of the city about an hour out. In a town that has a white horse

Wow , Wow awesome video my friend from start to end action, the 14 to 15 minute was pretty suspenseful wondering what you had and if you're going to even get to see it. That's a beauty about there were you have several species it's often a mystery what you're going to hook. Just to get all species was great , and to have them by day 4 too.
