Texas Snow Day
On 1/9 and 1/10 we received 4+ inches of snow in TX. We were not dressed for the occasion and somehow our dogs got out. But we made the best of the situation and had a blast exploring the abnormal weather in Dallas.
I think its time we invest in some snow gear. Something tells me this wont be a one off..

We ventured over to Grapevine Mills mall as they have an Aquarium there and we wanted to check it out. I was so surprised that this gem was hiding in a mall but if you are local to the DFW area and have kids, I highly recommend you check this out!

California King is supposed to support up to 6"6 so I don't understand how you didn't fit lol
I think the issue was I didnt sleep right at the top, due to the headboard, and gap between the old bed and the wall. In theory I should have fit, but with the new Alaskan king, I don’t have to worry about it anymore!

@fraser5 How did the grass grow in with this? I'm contemplating a similar job also 13 rolls for my back yard which is 90% dirt because of me becoming a Rover boarder. the mud in the house is driving me insane
That was exactly my problem. The area was a mud pit and anytime it got wet the dogs would track in and I was going crazy. No more mud pit, but at this point it’s essentially Astro turf but way harder on the feet. Grass hasn’t really grown through. I’ve seeded a few times. But no luck. I am going to chalk it up to hard area to grow in the first place. Still a good product, could be softer on the feet

Nicely done! Next time use the saw blade and cut inside the line to give you the extra gap so you can account for a less tight fit.

This video was heartwarming, encouraging and raw -- I was touched my man; I felt so happy seeing you and Timbo hugging at the hospital and seeing yall smile snd laugh with each other. Great to see your side of the family connecting on this level. Watching it all the way through has encouraged me to discover more ways to connect with us Frasers and Wellendorfs and the rest of the crew. I'm hopeful that this tragic event is also a catalyst for us to become more connected as family. Great video man! I'd love to see more!!

Interesting product! Is it intended to be temporary to allow for the grass to grow through or permanent?
It seems like it is all biodegradable. So in theory I could just leave it and as the grass grows over it, just keep mowing over until it breaks down over a few years. The grass is already coming up so once it's gone through a few mows I will reassess and post an update. I do like that it stops the dogs from tearing up that area and making a mud pit, so maybe it stays.. we'll see.. stay tuned!
The hybrid turf, itself, is a permanent solution. The reason for this is that you will want it there to keep protecting the soil and seedlings from being damaged from the paw and foot traffic in your yard. As the grass grows through the holes, it will intertwine with the hybrid turf locking the turf in place, but also making it hard to remove without pulling up the grass that has clung to it for added support. But if you do choose to take it up someday, it is 100% recyclable. BTW, the anchors are what are biodegradable. They dissolve as the grass locks the hybrid turf in place, so they are no longer neccessary.
