taking too long , where are you?

Hmm...Changing study habits works in these types of cases. because no one can tell you that if you do this, it will definitely happen. Studying is a repetitive task and we just get bored, When you find yourself bored with a subject, taking a brief pause, like 1 or 2 days away from it and then returning to it often reveals new insights and perspectives. We all are capable of it and if we are motivated we always find some tricks to make it happen. It worked for me so far. In the end, neither can you do anything by reading the comments nor does every piece of advice hold true for every individual. remember your end goal (Hiroshima University, clinical psychology and PhD). That is enough motivation to keep you going and going...🎋

U should consider going back to graduate school in Canada. It is less expensive as tuition in a Canadian university is government funded.

U moved from Canada to Japan to work? I moved from Canada to US to work. Changing countries was challenging. It took awhile to get used to it.

私は日本人で、USAに住んだこともあり今は仕事のために日本と国外を行ったり来たりしています。あなたの日本に対する感想を聞くのは本当に興味深いです。あなたの言う通り、どの国にも良いところも悪いところもあるのが現実です。 On the other hand, in any country including Japan, it is possible to find a place where you really feel comfortable and that suits you, and if you can do that, your life can be amazing. It can be a shool, a workplace, or a community... あなたの場合は、京都大学のような良い大学に行くようになれば日本での生活は素晴らしいものになると思います。そのような大学では日本人の学生もopen-mindedです。

drone shot was spectacular.👌 …first you are living in among the loneliest people of earth. Second its hard to penetrate into japan culture is also tough because of their close nature and language (thanks that is not the case with Canada). Third be grateful to whoever you worship or believe. I just heard about a friend's death and visualized everything what I was being told over the phone by my other friend who was close to him(who died). it just made me realized we live this life with so much ignorance. We should be grateful for everything , grateful if one can read or do comment, go to hiking, read books, eat, walk, sleep, and every single thing we take as granted. All this negativity and positivity starts seeming like tiny things in life when we start living gratefully. I also know this perspective to see at life is short-lived or momentarily but realization is valuable. 🎋

I honestly agree with this. I think we get so caught up in the day to day things but we should just be grateful for everything we have. Thank you for this comment!

It's totally normal to feel this way, changing environments comes at a cost, you get something new but you lose something in return. Don't overthink it because missing an old environment is gonna happen and overthinking it will just make it bigger.

Turism in Japan is wonderful but living in Japan is a nightmare, no real friends not empathy from locals at all😊, you can been living in Japan for 10 years and not having real friendd at all, the real friends you will have are foreigners with kids, single foreinners always leave, japane is not good for settling

The Algorithm sent me here to tell you that attending graduate school in a generally unprofitable field, in a country declining both economically and demographically, with low salaries when compared to other post-industrialized nations, and which is unlikely to fully accept you in any field because you are not Japanese, may not be the best decision unless you have very strong countervailing reasons to want to reside in Japan. Good luck.

Many people move to Japan, the US, or Europe based on what they see online. When their expectations don't align with reality, it often leads to feelings of disappointment or emptiness.

I like hearing so much about what's happening in your head. if you want to be a good psychologist spend time alone, and often go to quiet places to concentrate on the things that you are not doing but you need to, god teaches valuable lessons when you are alone, broken, and empty!!

How to study grammar: reading is good for studying grammar; you can see how it works in context. Any time you pause, you realize it's a point where grammar can be used. Also, writing complex sentences can help your grammar. You can combine your reading and writing in your other subjects to improve grammar.
