The #24 rider you were chasing was on a much more modern Honda CR. A '76 Maico 400 is a wonderful bike, but there's no way its suspension was up to the standards of a 1985 (or thereabouts) Honda. How did the race promoters separate the different bikes for this race? Just curious.Great racing, by the way.

I'm glad the vintage/PV thing took off, but those old dirt cheap bikes are few and far between. I would love to ride a Maico someday. I've owned twenty four bikes, and not one Maico! I've always Been a fan of the brandand think I still have that Adolph Weil poster around here somewhere.
