I'll still lv TO LV 40 FROM lv 25 learning all the 2x and 3x techs ON mt Woe then Red Plate Ayla Red Vest Frog equip the Black Plate or Mail to Crono then Giga Gaia at lv 40 can NEVER kill you and Gold and Silver Stud Ayla and Crono both at lv 40 before you fight it. NEVER figh Giga Gaia at lvs below 40.

Interesting, first time I've seen Yaqut refuse to go on the final expedition. Thought both he and Melville would just agree to go by default. His decision is definitely affected by something, not sure if it's dialogue choices with him or social media choices though. (Also, why do you hate Byron so much? Just because you felt he might have staged the "hologram" at the start of the game to get his expedition approved? But that theory has been disproven long ago.)
Byron just came off as preachy to me, I think, even though I generally aligned with his side of the argument. One of my nitpicks of Talos 2 in general compared to the first game is that it felt much more like the writers were taking a side on the questions they were posing. In the first game they asked, "what does it mean to be human?", and then threw a bunch of philosophical works at you so you could come up with an answer. They definitely had their own answer to that question, but you ascended all the same regardless of whether your answer aligned with theirs. In Talos 2, it really came off more like "Byron is right, everyone who disagrees is a pessimistic troglodyte, humanity's destiny is to become godlike interstellar life-seeders," which was a little on the nose. I think Miranda's death was supposed to be the counterweight to make it reasonable to support the idea that the Theory of Everything was too dangerous for humanity to handle, but it's undermined by the fact that you can revive her by just solving a few more puzzles - not to mention the fact that we never really got to know Miranda in person the way we did with the other characters. I think if Byron had permanently died when he plugged into the Megastructure, it would have made the conflict much more compelling - do we take his death as a warning against his reckless curiosity? Or do we carry on exploring to honor his memory?
