I’m surprised there wasn’t more mention of low vitamin D. My nephrologist and PCP seem to think that once my vitamin D levels are back up to a normal level, then my PTH levels will drop. Thoughts? I am 63 and have every symptom of hyperparathyroidism 😢

on a incidental finding i was diagnosed with a Thyroid nodule of less than 8.6mm TR5 did fnac it turned out to be Bethesda V suspicous for papillary tc my doctor is suggesting total thyroidectomy it would be really helpful if anyone knows about cryoablation is it helpful ?? i would rather preserve my thyroid than go for a thyroidectomy i have no symptoms form the nodule i would appreciate any help on the cyroablation

Tengo hipotiroidismo. Si presentan síntomas xfavor vayan Médico!!! Es un simple análisis de sangre y una Ecografía para ver si hay nódulos etc. No está mal tomar suplementos pero se necesita una medicación específica.

Dear Dr. Schneider, My boyfriend had parathyroid surgery to remove a gland 7 months ago. He had a high calcium level for at least 10 years, and after seeing his doctor he said it was urgent and recommended the surgery. Prior to the surgery, he had very minimal symptoms only kidney stones. His calcium level was at 13.5 before the parathyroid surgery afterwards calcium levels dropped to 9.8. He hasn't been the same since he has muscle tightness in arms, neck and shoulder area, ringing in his left ear to this day, hyper-insomnia, and lethargy. He has also developed rashes on his upper back and chest, and peeling of his skin. Noone seems to take his symptoms seriously and it's hard to watch a perfectly healthy 56 yr old man go through this torture. The insurance refused the referral for him to go back to an Endocronoligist because his calcium in their eyes is at a normal level now, so they have washed their hands with it.

Hi, after I watch this video I wanted to see Dr Tuttle; since I am monitoring my own thyroid over the 17 years I thought I can be good candidate for active monitoring. We reached out and send to him all my tests etc. His team was very nice and helpful. They told us my case is too complicated for him but they suggested to us his best fav doctor Shaha. We drove 4 hours to see him yesterday and it was the worst horrible experience we had with this person. He didn’t even have the basic respect to read my chart before coming into the room despite the fact that we extensively went over my history with his nurse beforehand. And he left the room while my husband was still trying to ask him questions. Stay away if you value your health! He apparently allegedly became a doctor because he feeds off of his patients suffering. This doctor Shaha one of the worst doctor i have ever saw in my life. He treated me like a dirt, after i left the office I vomited, almost fainted, i cried all the to the home. Me and my husband got in shock how horrible person he was. One of the the examples he used "once a person a murderer and then he become a saint, is that person a good person" what is this even mean with cancer?? The language he used the examples he gave it was horrifying. He was negative, nasty, inappropriate and very evil towards me. When we went this hospital we were very positive and hopeful, after i saw him i lost all my happiness and hopes. To my experience and opinion Dr Shaha shouldn't be around with any cancer patients. I wish, i never entered that building, i am so sad. Plus they kept ask "where are you from?" Is this why he was so mean to me? We drove 4 hours drive to see him and left the hospital hopeless and sick. I am still crying. Dr Tuttle if you ever read this pls don't send your patients to him he is one of the worst human being I have ever talk to. This is my personal experience with this dr Shaha

Narro mi experiencia porque padezco de hipotiroidismo, médico me recetó una pastilla de 100 mg. Media hora antes del desayuno no desaparecieron los módulos. Yo me cambié el horario de media hora antes a una hora antes del desayuno después de mucho tiempo me dejó el médico una biopsia y para mi felicidad salió que no tenía nódulos me pregunto mi doctor que ha hecho diferente para que desaparecieran los nódulos ? Le respondí la oración . La felicito me acoto.
