Interesting. But why did you need the Macrium stuff at the beginning? You didn't use the result of that at all. Plus, I don't think it's a good idea to let Disk2VHD put the image of the disk onto the disk which it is imaging.

I got my computer from my dad’s friend.He works on computer and stuff and for a long time windows has never been activated. I never knew why until today. It was because I had I windows 10 home digital license on a windows 10 pro. I just hope this works because it’s really annoying. If it does work. Thank you I couldn’t find any other videos lol

At 2:15, you say all the extenders would be listed right there. And that makes sense. I have two extenders, two eero. It only shows the one. But on both my Eeros, it’s a solid white light.

@TEK411, I have over 30 sec cams and have wanted to store them locally. If I do NOT encrypt the data will this allow me to be able to pull the microSD card out of the ring alarm pro base station and copy these video files to a local HDD/SSD on a PC? Thanks for any info you can give. I am trying to discover all the gotchas before I go this route.

Unfortunately, there is no way to throttle bandwidth in profiles. Example would be setting a small business such as coffee shop where there might be a dozen customers. Want them to have enough speed to do basic mobile internet, but not enough to massive downloads or other high bandwidth activities. Most customers wouldn't, it's non-customers that would be leaching nearby somewhere in range.

I discovered that to use profiles the Eero cannot be in bridge mode, must be setup for DHCP. Overall, no big deal.

You are absolutely amazing! I opted into the 11 pro trail or whatever they call it and with having my phones and tablets and smart TVs and both major game consoles I barely use my PC. I honestly and obviously didn't pay attention to the fact I had 10 days to do the rollback and now that it's been 6 months I need to activate windows and they obviously aren't accepting my key seeing as it's not the same op sys. I refuse to sit on a chat with customer service for something I knew is not a complicated matter however it's simplicity is hidden for a reason... Like making the easiest route to just buy a product key for pro. Any who point is I've subscribed because I am so appreciative of your honesty! It is so unjust how companies do this to people! Lucky there are us few who know better and even fewer that know how (and thank Goodness for people like you)! Wonderful! Love it!

I bought my laptop(bnew) with license to Windows 11 Home but somehow it did upgrade to Windows 11 Pro. Now it shows "Activate Windows" watermark, if I follow these steps and downgrade it to Home, do i have to enter license key? I did troubleshoot and it says, "We found a Windows 11 Home digital license for this device running Windows 11 Pro. To activate using this digital license, you need to install Windows 11 Home." Please tell me if I have to enter license key? All I see at my laptop is a product key with so many "X" and the last 5 characters😅
