@wally1166 - Sorry about the confusion. She did throw 20.67m but I missed it. I corrected the title to reflect this. I went to watch the Sydney Track Classic 2012 with my little video camera, and I had no idea who Valerie Adams was. She is now my hero. She was like a New Zealand version of Optimus Prime, but perhaps a bit bigger and stronger.
