When i plug my pvr into the socket the blue light comes on when i press the power on button nothing happens please help

My laptop won't recognize the usb to my pvr. And I tryed it on multiple laptops. It not my usb cord it's something in the pvr box

Okay finally, all I had to do was fucking change the display setting..that makes sens because I forgot my tv only supports 720p be sure its right guys.

Dude help me out, my PVR its not working the rightway, i have signal on the tv, But on my iMac ,it wont detec it , im using .eyetv, and i buy new USB cables 2.0 thinking that was the problem But still , my PVR. Its not working. Hope you can help .

my HDpvr has a black screen whenever i turn on eyetv but the pvr has a red light and a blue ring tht signals that there is a connection

i have nearly the same setup as you, my problem is, i turn my xbox on, my pvr on and NOTHING works, my pvr flashes blue then orange, then goes back to blue and i cannot get no signal! tried unplugging, rearranging my setup, deleting eyetv and redownloading, still nothing

i have the exact same setip, eye tv,,etc. i do what u have done by turning the pvr off and then back on, then it works for around 10 mins then it loses signal again, so i have to repeat this every 10 mins

My HD PVR stops recording for 5 to 10 seconds every time I go into a black loading screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I have a permanent yellow light and it wont leave. PVR wont register on computer and on TV. HELP!

i have the same problem, if your tv doesnt have a source button but has a HDMI you have to buy what is called a Neet Converter, from amazon or Ebay, which you baisically connect all the outputs from your PVR into then back into your tv. dnt forget to subscribe

Hi GeorgeRich96 bought from a regular place I think. Not specially or anything part from making sure it was good quality make - Maplins could have been. I avoided USB extension to reduce the risk of connection problems - just in case the male/female reduced quality

It worked! My issue- TotalMedia Extreme(TME) would stop working after a few recordings, restarting the software wasn't fixing the black screen I would get. The Solution- Do what 28Bonnie says in the video. After watching the video I turned off the PVR and turned it on 5-10 seconds later and restart TME and it works again without having to do anything else. I hope this fixes the black screen problem for some of you. TY 28Bonnie.

Im not getting a signal from Xbox 360 to HDPVR. TV pitcher flickers. My HDVR is working because I tried with other devie and see a pitche ron my computer and tv.I tried setting the xbox to 1080i and 720. Still not working. I had it hooked up to a component switch box all inputs work on component box. I tried diffrent Xbox cables get saem issue. Not sure what's left to do. Anything have to do with tv beside assigned input. I done this and still not working.

my hdpvr only works at 480p, when i change it to 720p i get blackscreen and it goes back to 480p, it worked with 720p the first two weeks but suddenly it stopped working. help? :)

@wardxamy Not sure, however the connection on the PVR is component and non- HDTV's won't have this so you won't be able to connect unless of course you down grade the signal via a suitable conversion kit but then what is the point you might as well record via DVD standard recorder or other cheaper stuff on the market.

@STEVEN7EE only sometimes when i switch my pvr on the screen on the tv comes on, and also when it does record it will record for a short period and it will then crash nd say device not available, my computer has the right specs and capture card needed, but i bought my pvr 2nd hand and it didnt come with a disk, ive looked up tutorials and ive downloaded alot of the friver software ?
