I also accidentally found ASMR that same year. I never knew it was a thing other people experienced. I also have never seen of heard of this Life Size movie. I guess I need to watch it. My first ASMR experience was as a kid watching "The Karate Kid 2" during the tea scene. I experience ASMR a lot IRL and would often find ways to experience tingles way before ASMR was mainstream.

With context it's actually emotional. She never cut her hair (it was as long as rapunzel) and it made her look older than her age and she would get mistaken as her sisters mother sometimes. So, she was doing a major life changing moment and she was emotional about it.
