How does a person long for home in a place she's never been? My bone, my heart, my soul knows the feel of the air, the smell of the soil, and yet I'm not welcome. Descended from people driven out in the Hunger, a stranger here after 4 generations, I've never felt home in the land I live, and yearn for the one I've never seen.
