Repairing A Water Pump On A Cattle Station
Good one mate enjoyed that one 👍👍👍👍, used to do a bit of that when I worked up bush really enjoyed it
Good clear water. What depth is that bore? Is the bore in an elevated area on on lower area? Thanks for post.
Never EVER put grease on a Helical Rotor Pump, It’ll swell the rubber bit and burn your motor & controller out… It’s the Iron Bacteria in the water that’s caused the issue….
He used rubber grease .
I can see a lot of experience behind all that, you're a real Jack of all Trades. How far down is the water table, and is it good water ? Have you had much of the recent rain. Looking forward to your next post.
Good job mate, water is life.
What voltage dose the pump run on. I am only use to large irrigation bores.
Gday, all worked out well there mate, thanks for sharing, cheers
Hi, Mate and glad you had some help on this. Hope all is well with you and all the herd. Bless All Yall!
Plenty of videos on you tube on how to recondition Sola pannals good luck thanks for sharing 🦘
Hey mate it sounds great go for it I was a country boy myself but in the west .
Hard yards top marks good on ya
Good story have wondered how ya got there 10/10
Yeah bloody oath bring it on love it CHEERS
JD made quite a few machines that if the engine dies you’re in your own you loose steering and brakes
The early settlers driving sheep into this territory in 1800s lost a lot of stock learning the hard way about the poisonous bushes.
VERY VERY INTERISTING.
I bet it rides better on the way home with a bit of weight on the springs.
Pretty small load of hay. Could ya put another row of bales on an acco like that (3 high) ?
Gday, the acco done a good job, there basic and reliable but not real quick, good to see you back mate, cheers
nice upload Jim
Glad to see you back thanks for sharing 🦘
Nice truck. Good hay hauler. Hope all is well with you, yours and the cows.Keep on and CHEERS!

Makes me want to visit again! Good to hear your story Nat. You should get Kahlia in front of the camera 😊
Nat, really enjoyed these history videos. Great work. Love to see some footage from your plane when flying over your property.
It is good to hear how people manage the hard times and hope for better times , congratulations to you and your wife for your resilience and faith in each other. Would love to hear of your future aspirations and best wishes to you both.
How long does the water pump operate for…is there a cut off time
Good vid thanks…always interested in watching your maintenance vid🙏
Thanks for the vid mate, very interesting!👍
Have you heard about Land Holders For Dingos ? Do you know that if you stop trapping, baiting and shooting dingos that live stock attack stops ? I'm on a station and we stopped killing dingos and the livestock attacks on cattle and sheep stopped. Land holders for dingos. Save money and time and get better profit from cattle.
Very interesting, the succession thing - sounds like your parents were very proactive. Do you have children? can't remember you mentioning any.
Yes and everybody has to go their own way. I lived my life burning diesel in driving trucks and running equipment and you just have to work things out as you go. You've done a fine job and the last two videos have been really good. So keep on grubbing it out and God Bless Yall
Good one mate enjoyed that 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great video really enjoyed it. Very interested to hear your future plans. Thanks mate, and all the best.
Onya mate. Great to hear a wee bit about the history of the place. Keep up the good work. Cheers n beers

Great family story!! Would be interesting to see your local sale yards and what's involved in getting cattle to market! Cheers
Always interesting to hear a grazing family story!
How did your parents get into farming in the first place and how they managed to buy several farms in such a short time
Gday, absolutely fantastic episode, I throughly enjoyed hearing about history of family’s dedication and hard work, I’d like to hear more about the earthmoving side of things as well, great job mate, cheers
Good video, mate. I'm looking forward to part 3. There's a good message in what you were saying about making do with what you have at the time and slowly progressing to get where you want to be. It doesn't have to happen overnight. Thanks for sharing 👍
I love history stories look forward to the next chapter.
Sweet vid and history. I know a grazier in nsw who had 3 daughters all of whom went to uni in Sydney. Having no gens to pass his farm onto was really difficult for him…ended up selling. Like how you and your missus showed resilience through tough times…especially with your wife’s injury. Thanks mate🙏
So good to hear your story - really interesting and would love to hear more. Thanks Nat.
Absolutely. Looking forward to hearing your story and how you've come to be where you are now.
Hey Mate great to hear your story we would like to hear more mum told me of land north for 25 cent a acre I would have been 14 in the seventies congratulations for having your heart set on Dulthara 👍
