I want to learn German and French and also Swiss German, which is a bit different. I have a question, for Christmas in Norway, are cardinals and poinsettia a thing? They're a massive part of the imagery here in the States. Also, I discovered an amazing song by James Blunt, called "Monsters." I'll caution you, this is as brutal and emotional as a song can get. This is easily one of the most powerful and devastating I've ever heard, so don't say I didn't warn you.

Happy St. Nicholas Day! Don't know if that's a big thing in Norway, but I know it is in the Germanic countries. It's practically unknown in the US. And yes, I've been missing your blogs, but I know you've been busy. Obviously school comes first. Sorry to hear you're not 100% better. A few years ago, I had walking pneumonia for a year and a half until I finally got it treated. Maybe it's something like that. Your tree looks wonderful! Nice star. I've started my decorating early, and I'm hoping to get a big tree next week. I usually don't get going until very late, and then it's a mad rush. I'm determined this year to get it all together before Christmas. You look so cozy in your apartment! Good luck with your exams. Hopefully when you're home you can get out some more videos!

The dress looks fantastic, well done. I have something of a photographer's eye and I noticed some cool shots, like the sewing machine up close. I've never quite figured out how those machines work, with the needle and thread. I'd need to see it in slow motion. I assume you're back home? I noticed on the wall an old fashioned barometer. I have one just like it. Is yours an antique also? Couple of asides: I found out a member of my favorite group, Depeche Mode, bought a property in Vestfold, Norway. Also, have you heard of Dirty Loops? They're a group from Sweden. It's not even the kind of music I generally listen to but their musicianship is so amazing, I can't help but be mesmerized. Their latest is called "Runaway" and another really good one is called, not joking, "Work Sh*t Out." Highly recommend. Have a great week! <333

A sewing video! I remember these with fondness, gone too soon. In fact I always wondered what happened with that traditional dress, the bunad, I believe? (See that? Not a bad memory!) Ah, yes, our insane measurement system. I'm not even sure what it's called. The non-metric system? Even we don't know how it works. Twelve inches in a foot? Why not? Anyway, it's a really pretty fabric. Can't wait to see the final product!

So cool to see the long vlog, finally! I'm glad you get to go home, that other home, and see your family. So cool Victoria gets to see LA. Speaking of Sweden, I bought some bookcases from IKEA here, you the ones with the cube-shaped spaces? They're perfect for holding vinyl records, and Lord knows I have a ton. I finally got everything out of storage, and am now sorting through everything, throwing out obvious garbage, and deciding what valuables to keep and what to sell. Between me, my mom, and my brother, all of who are a bit of collectors, there's a lot of stuff. Looking forward to future vlogs!

Tis Tweed Talk so you know. Yes, I've missed the French, but I love your British accent as well. The only thing with the French is, it'd be nice if you could translate, that's all. Great looking video BTW. It's great to get outside, love the buildings and the lake, and that fountain! Tomorrow I'm going to Austin for one of my favorite things in the world, the Austin Record Convention. It's for people like me who remember buying actual products like record albums and CDs, things you can hold in your hands. It's one of the biggest in the world 🌎. After the awful year I've had I deserve a little fun. It's going to a year tomorrow since my brother Greg died. On that cheery note, you look great, like maybe you're feeling a little better? I had just about given up of seeing another vlog by you. I didn't even think to check today until just now. I can't even express my joy. Two words come to mind in describing this vlog, "domestic bliss.". Doing the wash, shopping, making pizza rolls, which look amazing BTW. I've finally turned a major corner in my life where things should start getting a little easier. The past year has been stressful beyond belief. Part of it involves putting together my own little library which I'm excited about. I dunno I may do a vlog about it but it would mean telling very personal things.
