Hello. How to contact you.. can we email?
Can you list what tools you used? Or links on where to find them?
Excellent job.... Love your precision hands....God bless you Sir..... I love to give a hug.......
Lovely job. Nice to see a Titoni too.
Hi, really interesting to watch! What lubricants did you use on this restoration? Planning on restoring one myself, is there a technical manual you follow? Thanks :)
Well done. Subscribed... All the best.
要落油你吾落、吾落油你又落、怎搞😂
i have a 1930`s bulova 24 jewells and it looks like that but is an ambassador type ! sure is in great condition !
I have a bulova with a 10ae movement, just back from the local watch guy who overhauled it. Partly I wanted this done because it didnt have a wind stop, and I suspected the spring was broken. However it still doesnt have a wind stop, and he claims that bulova told him that these movements dont have a wind stop. I find that difficult to believe - wondered if you had any insight on this. Its a bulova american clipper, 10ae movement, made in 1935.
That was a fabulous job. I have several Bulovas, including some with this Swiss movement. It's nice to know how it's done, but that job's all yours!
I have a same watch but it needs repair. I can pay any amount to pay
Fabulous
Can you please restore my grandfather's watch
would you work 8+ hours for free?
I know it a vintage art deco watch, but it really does need a really good cleaning in your watchmaker's solution and cleaning machine.
Do you know where to buy the mainspring part?
I usually order from Esslinger. Cousin's UK is popular in Europe.
Ive just been given a skx 717 from a friend. Its running 15min fast every day, so going to get it serviced.. It has the same bezel as this watch, which moves in both directions, ( is it supposed to?) Or is the bezel faulty?
A dive watch bezel should be unidirectional. A GMT watch should be bidirectional. So depends on the function. Hope that helps.
@@thehighorologist cheers. The bezel must be broken then
Another fantastic video, thanks! I know you prefer retaining much of the patina, but for the sake of discussion, have you tried denture tabs on old dials? If so, what was the result?
No I haven't tried denture tabs. Theoretically it should work well, but I worry about not knowing the exact ingredients in the tabs. I just use dish soap and water, occasionally kerosene.
I love how you retained the patina. I don’t like things over restored.
Agreed!
Time is a dead god Thoth🌹🌚👍 Rest in the good news 🌹 Okay bye
J'ai une encianne bulova 10kgold filled bulova l1

Nice resto. Although, that is not an SKX, it is a 7002-7020. SKX hase a 7s26 movement and no applied indices. The SKX is kind of a progression from this model. I like this dial better but the bezel from the SKX is better. There is an 7S26-7020 day/date version of this model known as the SKX171.
What year did this watch cum into being?
Little info I was able to find point to the 1970’s
Ini Asli jam Bulova buatan Swiss, otomatis terbuat dari platina dan emas, juga permata Rubi buat poros tengah roda giginya😊😊❤❤
Wow. Finally, another great video. I really enjoy watching you repair these vintage. Get a chance to watch inside the watch and make it run smoothly again!!❤❤
Thank you for the support! It's not easy to make these videos and I appreciate the encouragement!
Bulova.........................cheap watch. 😔
If you have an expensive watch you'd like featured, let me know.
You are right cheap ... American made
@@wengcheunloon9769 The movement is Swiss made. Look at the bottom of the dial, it has Swiss printed on it. Look at the balance cock, it has the import code BXM stamped in it. They were assembled in America, but made in Switzerland. The cases were made in America.
My first time watching and I enjoyed what I saw. You are knowledgeable about watch repair.
Thank you I appreciate the comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
That case looks just like the Hamilton Electric Taurus model.
lol, indeed it does.
Certainly one of my kind of watches. please tell me what solution you used to clean the dial in , thank you
This was dish detergent and cold water this time. I've also had good results in the past soaking in kerosene for a few minutes before the soap, water, and silicon brush scrub.
@@thehighorologist have you ever used benzene?
@@alexanderbel1953 I think you mean benzine with an i rather than benzene with an e, as benzene is really toxic. I cannot get benzine/naphtha where I am, but I'd imagine it would work just as well if not better for cleaning. However, there's a chance it might dissolve printed texts on a watch dial. Have you tried it?
@@thehighorologist Lol , I can't spell . I can post a picture of the watch I want to clean up a little mostly around the hands and the hour hand it's self . A 1953 USSR Watch .
@@alexanderbel1953 I'd love to see it.
Oiling the palett fork pivot at 12:22?
This is subjective, some movements benefit depending on wear and age, a newish movement should remain dry, and to be fair I don’t think oiling the pallet fork will make any difference to its performance looking at the end resulting trace.
8/10 for the very good done job, that tiny watch lives again.
Thank you!
Thanks for the video. Did the original watch have 3 dial washers?
Good question. I really doubt it as it should be unnecessary. This watch looks like it had been serviced at least twice earlier in its lifetime and for whatever reason additional washers were added it didn’t seem to hurt it either. These may not even be the original washers.
I can clearly see what is inside this old watch. Very amazing. Everything is so tiny but you do so well!!👍👍👍 I gonna keep supporting your videos~
Thank you for the kind words. I will keep doing my best and keep making better video.
Sound is broken, better fix your channel...
Thanks for the feedback! I’ve tried several mics so far and finally found a good one for the next video.
Isn't the movement called 7009a?
I thought so too when I first opened it, but it’s not. The 7009 has a day-date and this one , the 7002, has only a date.
Very nice!!
first you should haver removed the rotor, otherwise movement swing all over like shown at 2:10....
Absolutely should have.
Wow, nice video. the restoration process is sooo cool!!!😘
Still better quality than those Mickey Mouse Watches from the Sixties. Well, the toys for adults have always been more expensive...
Lol. You’re right, it’s comparable to some Timex of the same decade.
@@thehighorologist You got a pin pallet movement to run very accurate and with little noise. Probably with that theme on the dial and hands the watch has never gotten a lot of wrist time, so it was practically as new, just needed a cleaning and new oil because of ageing. 😉
@@Ba_Yegu It didn’t look like it had much wear. What was surprising, not shown in the video, was that it looked like someone had disassembled this movement before me and one of the wheels was not installed correctly. Which could explains why the balance would speed up and slow down during inspection. Luckily no pivots were broken. I’m just happy the owner will be able to wear it again no matter how often.
Great video~ so detailed and relaxing
Thanks for doing this :)
Omg, your voice is so sexy, makes me wet 🥰😍😍
