Ariel Raguet
Ambient experiment with KQ Dixie, which is a virtual synthesizer for iPad inspired by the Yamaha DX7.
There is a development in Pure Data that sends notes and parameter changes by SYSTEM EXCLUSIE with random values, all by MIDI, just as if it were a real DX7.
Everything you hear comes from the KQ Dixie, which also has two Bleass Delay and a Audio Damage EOS 2 reverb, all running in AUM
The preset used is STRINGS 1, which is a standard preset of the Yamaha DX7 that comes in position 4 of the internal memory in the version that was distributed in Europe and Japan, since the version sold in the US had another set of presets.

One of my early obsessions are the sounds that can be obtained from radio short waves I had too many years ago, a radio with AM, FM, and SW, and for was a very fascinating world to listen all that incredible sounds. @@PeaceDub Hi, I don't know about connect a Mac with an iPad because I use Windows, in Windows you must use an app that creates a MIDI WiFi network that is rtpMIDI by Tobias Erichsen. Once this app is installed in the Windows machine, you must to run it and go to iPad to create a NETWORK MIDI that generally is an option in the app that you use in iPad, my main app in iPad is AUM that can make any kind of connections and can create a NETWORK MIDI session. Once this session is active in iPad, appears in the rtpMIDI in Windows and the connection is done. I think that in Mac you don't need this rtpMIDI app because CoreMIDI is a Mac standard, but I cannot be sure, you must investigate this. But... as this is a WiFi connection, don't work for me to play live and you can have latency or interruptions depends on how reliable the WiFi connection can be, so I used it just for make this video to know how it works. For my regular activity, I connect my iPad with my laptop using hardware interfaces, I can use iConnectMIDI2, Alesis IODock II or Korg Plug Key depends on what I need. You can use many others audio/MIDI USB interfaces with your iPad using the Apple Camera Connection Kit. Finally, the cable connection is, for me, far more reliable than wireless.

Me encantaría meterle mano a un Matriarch o a un Grandmother!! Pero no conozco aún quien pueda facilitarme uno de esos. Y de paso te comento que el álbum que estoy preparando con grabaciones del Voyager tiene muchas partes en donde Voyager está mezcladito con el Euro y una DM Alesis D4, o sea que la combinación Moog+Euro ya la tendría. Y también tengo terminado un álbum con un Behringer 2600 que me prestaron, y otro más con mi amadísimo Yamaha TX802. Me salió inquieto el nene.

El tema de los trenes y las vías me ha acompañado desde muy pequeño, ya yo vivía en los suburbios y para tomaba trenes para ir a la escuela, y de más grande tomé trenes para ir a trabajar, o sea que han sido una presencia importante en muchas etapas de mi vida. Hi, I was quite upset using PdParty, so didn't made more research. the main problem is that you must to create all patches using PdParty rules, and for me, this patches are far less flexibel than standard PD. May be you can try MobMuPlat, you can create more interesting screens, but it has their own way to create a patch too. danieliglesia.com/mobmuplat/

Well, the app is so good but it does't sound exactly. But you can get very similar sounds. I don't know what are your skills with synths, but these are very classic sounds, mainly VCO and VCF. Try to patch a sequencer to the VCO and send the SAWTOOTH out to the filter, set the REGENERATION to 7 and move the FIXED CONTROL VOLTAGE until you get something you like.
