Already pre-ordered. My tip for new players is to not just coast through the story. Take your time and hunt every new monster a couple of times, preferably 10 times or more before moving on to the next. You're gonna meet tougher versions of them later, and it doesn't hurt to have their movesets down.

If you're coming anywhere close to running out of time you should be in training room instead. And there's nothing wrong with that, but fights should NOT last that long, and everyone will get more enjoyment out of the game if they know their weapons more. Everyone who's good at MH has spent countless hours in the training room.

I especially love the fact that we now can choose the type of armor. No more high heels or short skirts on my female huntress!

Its got great gameplay, theres no political propaganda, the weapons are awesome, the devs listen to feedback (insect glaive my beloved), and its got great visuals/graphics It gets a 10/10 from me

i got a PS3 just to play World when it released, this is a great game series

Only get this game if you have a 5090 because that's what they expect you to have if you want to run this thing if it's dlss and frame generation

avoiding this game because of performance, I'm sure it'll be great gameplay wise but it's optimized very poorly.

So far I’m not convinced to even wanna pick this game up. I understand that it is a beta but I feel like there’s a some unfinished product. Fighting with hits on monster feels like I’m hitting nothing and just feels very bland.

No need just started playing the Beta and i am getting it because finally i can make a normal female character without looking more butch than the dudes only took i don't know how many f*cking years honestly capcom

In my opinion the beta is a 10/10. I only reduce it by one point for the lame dessert. Desserts in games are always boring probably coz they are boring in real life too

World building, satisfying combat, mastering a weapon, and accomplishing goals is what drives me to play these games. Man you've made it harder for me to decide lol. Either buy into the hype or wait a few weeks after lauch to hear about people's experiences with performance. Fuuuuck.

There was a character similar mechanic weapon switch axe his name was Qrow from RWBY but it was a scythe instead an axe.

This is such a good tutorial exactly what i needed. I used to play lance in tri and fancied giving it another go in rise. I'm a big fan of Rurhikan, Shields up ironbreakers, and all that, but got the impression he didn't really have much of a scooby doo with the lance. Your guide is concise, easy to understand. Thank you!

I main switch axe and i still find the charge blade confusing or complicated but i do think i kinda know how to play well atleast the basics and some combos due to it being somewhat similar to the switch axe

every other tutorial is some dude going "chargeblade is pretty simple so basically..." and goes on for 30 minutes and i dont understand shit. and i still dont understand shit.

I am currently prepping for Wilds by completing World over and over again, each time with a new weapon, to really get a feel for it. Just started my IG run and this video helped a lot :)

Just want to point out on the topic of mounting/mounted attacks. You can and should generate 3 wounds on the monster. Only exceptions being chatacabra and doshuguma as you can only generate 2 wounds on them but Rey Dau and Balahara youre capable of generating 3. More wounds, more spots for increased damage or focus strikes for your fellow hunters

your characters look very ugly with all the great tools u been giveing thats what u came up with ..

dont forget "thousand dragons" will use all of your current slinger ammo too. with piercing pods this can deal a huge chunk of damage if shot down the length of a monster. if i have a full stack of pierce slinger ammo, ill usually fire off ARC shot few times to knock em down then dash few time to position myself with fully charged shot ready and then hit em with the "thousand Dragons". if your fighting monster that drops pierce slinger ammo often when you break parts you can loop this combo quite often. this method cut my safijiva run times in half.

I get more guard point on combo by mistake than timing on switching 😂

Finally finished exams recently and got to watch this video today. I was not disappointed and congrats on that win! Must've felt good after that. It's such a beautiful looking DLC and now I know what to expect when going in. My younger brother didn't enjoy it, but he beat it. I haven't started on Shadow of the Erd myself, but I actually bought it recently to hopefully play on Christmas (if I can finish this magical girl game I've recently picked back up. hint: most likely not b/c there's another sequel).
