charge blade simple mindset: charge your phial with right click attack (hold) -> store phial -> do charge phial again -> wait a chance to guardpoint or just SAED and ctrl to charge sheild -> store phial again and hold left click attack to charge your sword -> fight with your sword and wait for a chance to use AED -> if monster is down, use SAED. Pro tip: punish enemies or go for stagger using the sprinting charge attack. You can combo from basically any attack straight into a charge, which can do 130-200 damage (when optimized) on even the first tier stab, the second tier stab being even stronger. It’s much stronger than just spamming your regular poke and you have a moment to get in your regular combo immediately after.

As a card carrying cb cult member, I dislike charging my sword. I like playing around my phials and charging my shield to drop nukes when the time comes with huge axe damage. I know you keep your phials after charging your sword and you can go right into SAED but it just feels more like a waste of time when I could have dropped two or three huge axe swings instead. Not to mention savage axe.

master im newbie and playing it on pc i tried does bow is easy to use i tried it im not dyoming anymore but the thing is i have less damge and cant do other combo can u give me some advice for keys in keyboard so i can practice with it thank u in advance

When you were going over the great sword you contradicted yourself a lot. What I mean by this, “I don’t find the great sword difficult to use”, then proceeds to explain the 2 main things that make the great sword the great sword, and say you find that difficult about them.

Thanks! I'm a seasoned bow user that just came back for Iceborne, and had no idea they added another uber attack! Looks super useful for the "smaller" monsters (meaning, they aren't the size/length of a jumbo jet) Also, Bow Charge Plus is far and away the strongest deco for bow users, which can now be crafted at the melder once you complete Iceborne's story (you used to have to simply pray you'd roll one in a quest reward, with a very low chance.) It requires something like 4000 melding points though, which means you'll need to melt down a TON of 3-4 star decos to craft it. The fastest reliable way to get this deco is to farm any event quest that offers decos, preferably in High Rank ('The Name's Lavasioth' is a good one; be sure you pick up all the materials it drops!) You'll either get lucky and roll the deco as a quest reward, or you'll be unlucky and have enough decos to melt down after... maybe a whole day of farming...

This is how I play the bow : The charge shot is great to kite and reposition without consuming too much energy and keep your running speed without getting slowed down by the walk animation when firing. It's a really good alternative for glass canon builds where you don't go a lot for stamina saving perks. The dash shot is great to reach a spot where you can aim for the head while doing damage on the way. I use dragon pierce for a while to until the tail is cut, or if the head of the monster I perfectly aligned with the rest of his body. As Dragon pierce has piercing effect, you can deal way more damage by using this than using claw if there is no nearby walls. Spread shot is great if you are close to the monster. In theory the double spread combo deals more damage, but the frame staggering is really risky

I just have to say I appreciate the info but it gets quite frustrating when I've been trying to get into this weapon and learning the more advanced combos but every video is like this one where they display xbox buttons while he is talking about playstation buttons and I'm on PC so I have no idea what he is talking about.... I really just want to learn how to do AED while having my shield charged and just having done a guard point without doing an SAED or just being able to do an AED. Sometimes I only have a few phials left and don't want to try doing a full SAED but I can not find the right combo for it.

I played IG, CB, GS and HM. I would say IG and GS are more complicated, one you get how their systems work, they're easier than GS and HM.

UPDATE: Summer Game Fest Monster Hunter Wilds Trailer was shown. I don't even have anything to say from it. It was alright but not worth doing a video, imo.

2 weapons will be interesting. Bow and hbg I for sure will be playing. Fast dps and heavy guard. Maybe hammer and gs or hh. Swaxe has heavy commitment in the attacks so I struggled trying to use it efficiently. Also couldn’t get used to the playstyle and kept getting hit.

I played all of monster hunter world on solo and randoms because none of my friends had a pc. They were splintered on ps4 and xbox one. Which sucked cause we played 4U together on 3DS. Thankfully with Rise, we all had switches and the hunts were much more fun. Wilds NEEDS to have crossplay. It's 2024 Capcom, and 2025 when Wilds will release. Get with the program.

Charge blade is probably the hardest to use and thats due to how many variations of combos and set ups for saed keeping an eye on your shield and sword guages building enough momentum to hit the Ultra SAED and learning when to use pizza cutter mode and most importantly learning how to use guard points and turn that into ko counter. Is complex theres a pdf explaining how this weapon works and everything else you need to know. Its the true austist weapon

Is the zero sum discharge only in iceborne? I can only do element discharge in base game
