It's AI BS! It's more likely than not that the pictures being touted are AI-generated. Combined with the lack of an official announcement from the company, it seems that the rumors of a CAT truck hitting the road in 2025 are completely false. However, the idea of a pickup truck powered by a CAT engine remains intriguing, to say the least.

Compared to my 2010 civic it very roamy and very fast.

Who actually builds it for Cat? In some photos, it looks like a Ford. In others, it looks like a GM.

Just rented one. You missed the key fob problems. Car told me one night the battery was low. Then while driving with the fob in the same place it had been the car suddenly says the fob is undetectable. The vehicle only had 7k miles on it. Other than that and the infotainment system (that I never figured out) it handled nicely.

It’s a niche’ product and doesn’t pretend to be anything mainstream. It’s well-built, has an upscale interior, it’s fun to drive and “feels” expensive. You either enjoy its strengths or you want what everybody else has. That’s it. We love ours!

I feel none of these points would steer me away. Infotainment center is easy to learn. Play with it for an hour then practice for a few days and you will like it.

just sold my 2023 Tundra Limited after 9 months with 20K miles. It had $3700 of options/packages. I bought it new but started having lots of issues that were all fixed under warranty. But paying $55K it should not have all the problems it did. I got $53K from Carvana, I am going back to a 2024 4runner (5th gen) because of the "Hopefully" still reliable old school interior and engine, transmission. Both driver and passengers side plastic seat panel cracked, dash cracked, entertainment system was very unreliable, cruise control faulty, gas guage did not show correct fuel level, etc, etc.
