The collection is gorgeous! I‘m gutted that Colonnade wasn't brought back as a part of this release. I discovered the green colorway years ago on the walls of The Jack House, a historic home in New South Wales, and have been hunting for it ever since. Fingers crossed, it'll be included in a subsequent collection.

The value of the colors make a difference and what is in that color to make it that way-meaning where on the multitude of colors that are mixed together . He is right about the aspects of color, hue etc. so it is a really hard discussion. I am struggling with that right now and i would say that it takes a conversation with someone else that gets color , texture, pattern etc I can’t imagine all designers being able to do it without even subtle interaction with some one.

As a painter decorator for 37 yrs i always wished i got more into interior design as im often told im creative & always offer ideas & suggestions regarding colours etc, And yes my paint scuttle has hardly changed colour with grey being so dominant, And yes, Elephants Breath,the way i put it to people is grey was popular as it was matched with silver's which is a match as the colour grey is the closest to silver whereas creams & mustard colours are matched with golds, reds, brown & Orange colours are a match with coppers & bronze, im a great admirer of Metalic paints but only in small amounts as it can be overkill & tacky if used too much, when im trying to take a client out of there comfort zone i always recommend just dipping there toes in slowly so to speak by doing just a feature wall & i have converted many using colours they would not of used before with 100% success, my personal favourite colour & what i have at home is Teal damask wallpaper with silver fireplace & lamp etc that works beautifully but golds do too,with colours it's all about balance, i often go for dark moody colours that i think are more cosy, lighter colours are often colder looking but you can add accessories in other colours to warm, it's easy really ?
