Looney tunes/TCM pinball - add-a-ball return post/guide
The post is extended on one side beyond the rubber, effectively turning the post into a back stop/ball guide.
This is a physical mod to help prevent right outlane drains due to an inconsistent feed to the inlane. I realize there is software to compensate for a lost ball already, but that interrupts the intended flow.

This was a much better tutorial than the guy with the painters tape. Thanks man.
I love this game. I played it at the VFW Pinball Museum in Ann Arbor, Michigan and at Pinball PA in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.
Hello Dave, very nice video. All illustrations for this pinball were made by my father, Blas Gallego back in the 80s. The company Playmatic asked my father if they could use some of his already existing illustrations and he agreed. This pinball machine was created and produced in our city Barcelona (Catalonia Spain) by that company (Playmatic) which no longer exists, and it surprises me that you own one in the US because this machine is european (spanish) with not so many units created. I'm a fan of pinballs, I own 6 of them (Batman, Popeye, Frankenstein, etc ) but I've been searching for this pinball for years because it has a special place in my heart due to my father fantasy illustrations. What did you mean that this one is a prototype version? As far as I know there was only one version. Thank you
That’s awesome your dad did the artwork! This is definitely a title very few have seen or will ever have the chance to play. That’s why I think it’s important to capture video when I get the chance. Many thanks to your father for bringing this cool pinball to the world.
I remember there was a Sexy Girl in 1983 in our local arcade, right next to Haunted House. I was thirten yrs old back then.
Did it melt with 30watt bulb.. with ABS filament
Yeah, it did last longer, but eventually got soft and caved in under the weight of the globe.
@@DavesArcade thank for the reply . I'm going to try and make base with wood . ill let you know how goes . waiting on one part
Pretty Clever!
Fiberglass v bondo? If bondo is thicker, then less chance of leaking under the dams?
I like the sound on this one. Looks amazing dude.
Played a lot in this machine un brasil in late 80s early 90s. Great game bu a drainer. Best ones from taito imho: vortex, fire action, rally, cavaleiro negro (black night from williams), cosmic, gemini 2000 (de as centaur)
Do you recommend painting on bare wood or putting a clear coat down first if the playfield is bad enough
New subscriber🔥🔥🔥
Ive wanted one for YEARS, where did u find it? VERY cool
This game was shipped from Brazil. This was a friend of a friend’s game I filmed, so I don’t have more details than that.
Excellent stream! Subscribed. Nice little fun fact about the added upper flipper in the production models. I can only play this on VPX and it has the upper flipper.
Insane collection
Are you located in WI by chance?
Cool pin!
Great stream Dave! I was only able to catch a bit of it live but what a cool machine!
Wow this machine look rly rare... And so cool, thanks dave for making a video with it
Pretty cool!
The E and T flash exactly the same sequence on my machine also ftr
Great video. You covered everything you could on how to troubleshoot. 👍
P r o m o s m 🙂
Great video, thanks for sharing!
where can i found the sound effect to big game?
Check the video description. There’s a link to Troxel repair where you can buy the board. It comes loaded with code, just select the game in the drop-down menu. He has video instructions how to install.
Been debating Pro or Premium - do you enjoy the Pro and not fret over not being the premium?
where can we get this?
Nico to see, I bought a Target Alpha earlier this year, because I like the art of the backglass. But the playfield also looks very good and the lay out is also great. A very nice machine, that indeed almost plays ike a solid state machine.
Hi, this was super cool to watch! Would you happen to still have the STL file for the lava lamp base? I would love to print this!
I do, but this was a failed experiment. ABS was not heat resistant enough. I even tried lining the inside with aluminum foil to help keep the heat away from the plastic.
@@DavesArcade ah I see, that’s too bad, sorry it didn’t work out! I have wanted to try this with heat resistant resin. Would you still be willing to share the STL file?
Premium is awesome.. I do like the pro too though. They are both very different
sweet!!
I bought Krylon triple thick maybe a couple or more years back. Something told me not to use it. I later found the best pinball backglass sealer and it's called Markseal. My KISS back glass started to bubble around the top of the KISS logo.... I put this on and its permanently sealed and UV protected!!. Now i have a full unused can of Krylo triple thick 😂
@rustyblades2566. I don’t think I’m finding the product you referenced. Are you talking about clear marking paint? www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Professional-15-oz-Clear-Inverted-Marking-Spray-Paint-2596838/100139262 Please post a link for the product and I’ll check it out.
❤ wow the music ! It's amazing
Thanks for making the video and for the shoutout!
Awesome!
Man I keep missing you! Great stream man! Hopefully I'll catch ya in the next one!
No worries. I’ll stream this again once I learn the rules better. Normal weekly stream is 7pm CST on Fridays. Occasionally I’ll do a stream outside of that if the spirit moves me.
Super cool history and game!
Great video thanks Dave! I personally don’t want to remove the playfields either! Why the hassle, is my thought.
Nice playing guys! Really liking the code updates! Makes me want to grab another one!
Really great video dave ! Thanks for that ! I like this game looks like fun...also the music is cool. Greetings from overseas, Jag
Nice viseo
Saw this listed on Pinside a while back. I was tempted!
Can I ask you to elaborate on the “upgrade kit” that got mentioned. Struggling to find info online about it.
Thanks for this great tutorial! I was wondering if you ever replace the male part of the connector (that's on the board)? Or is that overkill when replacing those connectors?
Very cool homebrew! Is there anywhere we can follow the development progress?
Hey Dave ! Great Video, maybe one of the best ideas to fix the wood. Good job !
Great pro tip
