I'm not understanding how the ranking works... Been stuck in Iron for a while, and have been demolishing teams of all bronze, but my ranking keeps going down from iron 3 to iron 2... when I whiff constantly and get destroyed by iron players, my ranking goes back up to Iron 3. This seems completely counter intuitive. What's up with it?

This is happening frequently, i start my game at 5k10d the first half. I tell myself defense/attack is gonna be better and i keep the focus and manage to get 1st or 2nd of my team everytime this applies. And also even tough i play jett i dont fear to be useless but aim to carry instead and it works most of the time

my rank up games have my teammates real irons and my enemys fkn gold 3 or sm shit

do I count as stuck at silver I start play rank on episode 8 got iron 3 and episode 9 act 1 I grind to silver 2 and in episode 9 ep 2 i grind to silver 3 and episode 9 ep 3 I got silver

I haven't played in a while, and I'm planning to return, get the rust away, and grind ranked. Before I left, i could consistently get high kill games like 30 bombs and stuff. But here is why I'm freaking out about returning... Im worried I have lost the ability to fuck with the enemy team with mind games. Let me explain. Its all about the unpredictability and wondering "with the current situation, what site are they expecting us to try and plant? Lets go where they arent expecting us." I could genuinely screw with the other team by meticulously getting them to expect us in one place and have to try and retake us in another (part of the reason I main Astra, lol). Im hoping it will come back with a little bit of time, but I'm mainly worried about that. Ive actually got really good game sense snd awareness. My aim could be a tad better, but we are all always improving 😅

Deadlock has the 2nd highest wr out of every agent in every rank in competitve, and as a deadlock main with 600-700 hours roughly (diamond) i'd say shes better solo sentinel because shes better for playing with duelists as an initiator/sentinel hybrid, when you have double sentinel, its likely your double duelists turns to 1 duelist making her less useful. In this meta id say shes turning out to be on par with Kj, or even better than her, with cypher still being the best. My honest opinion is that she is better than most of the other sentinels, and that its better to be playing her as the average player. (Im not a 1 trick, and even though i do main her, i also play astra, harbor, jett and iso.)
