I haven’t tried it but it might come down to the version you currently have. Waves Central Version 15 only has V14 and V15 available for install. So anything earlier would require an earlier version of Waves Central which wouldn’t include V15. There’s a drop down on the install page that lets you choose V14 and V15. I think you might be able to keep all current plugins at V14 and just install IDX with V15. If your versions are earlier than V14 I’m not sure it’s possible.

Sorry, if I’m understanding correctly. I’m referring to 2 peaks. The top and bottom peaks need to have an even amount of peaks to work.

Yes. Before I export I make sure all tracks are what there supposed to be. For example on the high hat track you might get a random snare. I move it where it’s supposed to be then export.

I’m a big fan of both UAD and Fabfilter. Plug-ins I use frequently are Pro-Q3 (this is on every mix I do). Plug-ins I use frequently and on most of my mixes and production. Pro MB easy to use and I love this on vocals. Pro-DS is my go to de esser. Saturn 2 is one of my favorite saturation plugins. I love the multi-band. I actually like volcano 3. I try and find uses for it when I need a unique filter. I do also like the Pro L2, Pro R2 and Pro C2. With that said I think Fabfilter offers a high quality product. I reach for Fabfilter often. The simplicity of the interface and features have kept them in my go to plugins. Cons I’d say. The price point. Black Friday and their Summer Sale are the perfect time to think about getting them. The interface though simple can at times feel complicated with so many options. Especially for beginners. I do feel there’s a transparency to most of the Fabfilter plugins. I think that’s why I like to use other plugins with them so I can add different colors to my mixes. (That’s just how I feel) Ultimately I’ve never regretted investing in the bundle. I use their plugins frequently. I feel if I needed to it would be easy to mix with just Fabfilter. I just personally like mixing them with other plugins. Hope this helps.

Two things you can try. Finding the sweet spot of the loop or you can slightly fade the cross point. I’ve also tried different points to loop of the 808 as well. Those seem to be what works for me.

Where are you getting stuck?

I’ve only had to fix this error myself two times. If I’ve gotten a new plugin i just install the plugin normally.

Sorry, I wasn't able to troubleshoot with FL 10. I assume the path needs to be the same. FL needs to know where to look for the plugins. If you're using FL 10 you might want to look into the Waves version of the plugin you are using and make sure it's compatible.

I just export the stems and then import them into my daw of choice.

Maybe create my own beats or if there's a great plug library for 808 & deep basslines then I would use that. I dont know anything about theory or nuttin, just bop my head. Couple questions if you would pls? What DAW & other products would you use for what I am trying to do? FL Studio 21 beta latest with STEM separation and/or RipX? I have an Akai & old FL 12 but haven't touch anything yet. I understand that some sw is easier to work with or better for task. How much theory do I need to start and where would I learn it from? Jr college or online, who is a good teacher ect. Thx for the wisdom

@@boywonderrr71 As far as theory goes, I feel the more you know the easier it is to get ideas out of your head. For stem separation i prefer RipX. I like that my drums are separated in RipX. Education and collaboration are the quickest ways to further your craft. You can definitely learn searching online as well but it can take longer to learn. As far as Tools i'd start with the tools in your daw you choose. You'll start developing your own taste.

Sorry to hear that. I found it really depends on the 808 and where you slice it. I've had some 808's sound great, and others sound terrible.

Even when exporting with effects?

Sorry, some 808s work better than others and at times it can be tedious finding the point where to create the loop. Some sections play better than others.

If you don't see the FL Studio VSTi as an option, run the FL installer and make sure that the VSTi is also selected to be installed. Make sure it's installed to your usual VST folder (otherwise move it there) and let your DAW scan for new plugins.

FL Studio is looking for the plugins again. This method directs it to them.

For stem separation I like Deepremix (RipX). I found it a little cleaner. Plus it separates the drums. I haven’t used Rx since 8 but it’s been my least favorite. Seems to have the most artifacts. FL isn’t bad.

I was referring to where I had the snare in the video. Sorry for the confusion.

You can try fading or use another section of the 808. Unfortunately it can be tedious sometimes. Depending on the 808. Finding the right spot to loop.

Out of the stem separation software I’ve used. RipX has the most flexibility and had the least amount of artifacts. I haven’t done a comparison in a while though. I’m not sure if the artifacts will ever fully go away. It’s a little crazy that stem separation is even possible.
