Adrian & Rick with mini paddles vs Joe & Ray
Making play a little more interesting- winning team had to use a mini paddle for one player. If they won again, both players had to use the mini paddles. This game was the result of winning 2 in a row.

Was curious about how the house looked from the sky. So much more lush greenery around it than I thought there'd be.

What level is this?
Hard to say. I haven't played any tournaments yet, and I'm not sure if these guys have either. They're all very good athletes, and they're young, soooo...well, I still don't know. I'd say maybe 3.5-4.0?
@@RickLeBeau good for you guys. Good play, could see you fairing well in a 4.5-5.0 setting
Thank you for filming👍🏼
You got it! I'll try to improve my camera work as fast as your pickleball game is improving!
you can see how long Simons arm is. Combine that torque with practiced and the distance just follows along.
Pops will be 90 years old on September 1 of 2024. I'd say he's a pretty good bet to make it. If he's not too busy celebrating, I'll record another interview.
I had no idea what I was in for
Your comment made me watch it again. This was such a momentous set of points. Alshon fought off several match points, as you see. I told my friend early in the game that the final score was going to be 13-11. My crystal ball was spot on.
E
this is cool. Thye make it look so easy but both these guys are masters!!
gotta be no sport more femanine than disk.... golf...... taking the fun outta golf by using a frisbeee.. cuz u suck at regular golf lol
they even synced their mirin' walk backs lmao
What you hear in the background isn't a plane. It's the discs breaking the sound barrier
I've seen quite a few frisbee shirt quilts and the quality of the seams and the stitching of this one is the best I have ever seen. There are some exceptionally rare shirts in this quilt as well. Well done Juliana, and good luck to all of those in the US Open in 2022!!
Just great. Would love to win them. Better as pricemoney.
Did you mean better than prize money? I know your English is better than my Finnish. :)
@@RickLeBeau 😄😉
Amazing work. Looks fantastic with the floral stitching. And all the memories....AFO Logo Design is my favorite. 1976 Rose Bowl 2nd.
Hi bro!
Thanks for uploading this! Been looking for it. Wiggins is just one frame behind, so close!
Rick LeBeau .... you the MAN!!
Location , location, location! ;-)
how’s verything going?,thank you~ gorgeous -see ya!.my dear~ 🤗
Jump to 1:45 to see what my version of a highlight reel looks like.
Pretty windy day. I felt comfortable putting with those conditions, but clearly in this set was not locked in at all.
I watched and then went out to practice putts. You must bee one of those "influencers"!
Damn straight! With my army of one!
Super lightweight.
Indeed- 149-150g on the lightest shrykes. I think some were 155g. I like throwing them downwind.
@@RickLeBeau I have a few shrykes but I don’t bag them. The Daedalus is fun to throw downwind as well.
First. We had some guys come to my college to do that in the 80's. Man they were good. Glad she's back in disc golf.
More world championships ahead of her, but probably not in FPO. 2022 should be interesting, though.
Dialed in
Thank you. It was weird how I edited this video in landscape and then it uploaded as a 1:1 square. Oh well. Kinda fun to see the putts flying in from space.
You are the Man Rick!!
You have excellent taste. I’m a sucker for the flooring and backsplash. The kitchen looks bright. It’s a beautiful set up.
Simon Lizotte from Germany, bäääm....so hard to hit the window after the spin...and who is the guy in the red shirt? Edit: David Wiggins. Thx for the Video description :-)
I want a Bownet!!
Progress in two throws with both students. Nice!!
Johnny- that's the tip of the iceberg. With a 100-mold or Skystyler, they've already got forehand, wrist flip, backhand, and an upside down throw with each of those grips.
Hey Rick, nice explanations. What is your experience with a training net like that? will it also work for Zephyre or other golf discs throwing training? Thx. Marc
Hi Marc- This net is great. This was actually the first time we used it for DDC training. We have used it a ton for Accuracy (using zephyrs) and golf discs. One adjustment I'd make for throwing DDC discs is that I'd move farther away from the net. The releases using an overhand throwing motion have to be released at a lower trajectory than normal the net is too close- otherwise you end up throwing it over the net. For throwing hard drives with either forehand or backhand releases, standing fairly close to the net is better.
@@RickLeBeau thanks.
was the angle rule suspended for that game? ;)
Nice tape. but the place is kinda noisy... :)
Straight up stud there Rick! This is Rock in Austin by the way.'
Love it. Thanks for posting.
I love this!! Thank you Rick and John and Juliana. I am from these "connections" ...... John quotes names .... one I believe is just an incorrect recollection ..... George Sappenfield? I believe this would have been John Sappington from Ann Arbor .... the original one armed handstand catch .... the Wolverbee's and the Ann Arbor Disc festival main man in the 70's and known for the AADF? I may bee wrong and if so .... so bee it. But John captained the Wolverbee's in 79 when I started and I played with and against him. Great guy. A leader in the beginnings of disc sports in Michigan.
This is gold! Love to hear more Rick!!
....blue moon ice cream!! Thanks for posting Rick!!
..... this is awesome!! Just to eavesdrop on your discussion ...... so cool!!
Awesome!! Thanks Rick!!
So gracious, anyone who knows, her knows that. It was a pleasure to see her at peak performance in spite of the conditions. Moving Freestyle indoors on the spur of the moment posed not only a challenge to the TD but to the competitors. Does Juliana practice much in dead air?
Such a true champion.
Thanks Rick for uploading all those videos!
Interesting start to this video!
Very helpfull

That is a great routine. There were a number of impressive routines prior to this, however, it was immediately clear that this was the winner.
