I'll take the old one
I’ve taken apart my controllers to fix them usually it’s these little circle things inside the stick module. You gotta take apart the controller, remove the light bar tab, remove the battery, flip over the mother board and at this point you should see the stick modules. Essentially there’s these little box shaped things you get a very small flat head and open them up and they contain the little circle bits. You can buy them for very cheap on eBay or Amazon and all you gotta do is swap em and put it all back together. You gotta place them in perfectly tho it’s not hard but it’s important there little dots on the circle things one side has 3 dots the opposite side has 2 dots you wanna make sure the 2 dot side is facing downwards. It’s rlly not that hard but it is a bit of a process. The ps4 and 5 controllers are very very similar in this regard that they use the same type of circle things which are prone to wear and tear. Usually they brake from excessive use, dust, rlly anything that can get up in there like in my case spaghetti sauce 🤦♂️ you could try to fix it and sell it online used or keep it for another controller. Anyways I hope this helps Ik it’s a bit long but it’s not easy to explain how to fix a controller by typing it out 😭
Also I almost forgot, those little circle things are very very sensitive there’s these little metal bits that rise off of it and go around it, you’d be able to see what I’m talking ab if you could see it, so it’s important so you don’t wanna bend or mess with it any or else you could cause stick drift on your brand new circle bits

@@ayogames216 cool 👍 I’d recommend looking at some UA-cam vids on it that explain it better than I could here. I also recommend having a set of small screwdrivers Phillips and flat heads as well as a pair of tweezers should help you take everything apart without braking anything
It's because the controller you we're using was the original model which has gaps I'm the bottom so dust would get through and break the analog sticks.
