Things We Miss Every Day
Today I'm out and about and found an Anderson WW2 bunker and The Robin Stone or an Archers Stone. We walk past these every day and sometimes don't even notice them. Hope you enjoy what I found.

Today I'm attempting to renew the glow plugs on my 31 year old VW T4 transporter camper. The engine is the 2.4 diesel with the engine code AAB. I'm not a mechanic so bear with me, I hope you enjoy what I've done and hopefully it will help others with the same problem #vw #vwscene #transporter #campervan #t4camper #glowplug #volkswagentransporter #exploreliverpool #travel #fyp #fypyoutube #fyp

Brilliant mate. The archers stone I think was moved from somewhere close to Calderstones?
I thought it was the blue antifreeze that engine took and red goes in a vw t5
@@trevorhartley5166 I didn’t use the VW anti freeze which you never have to change, just incase I had to take everything off again. I will replace in 2 years with the VW antifreeze so I don’t have to change it again unless something goes wrong with the heating system. Yes you are right though, the colour would have been different had I used the recommended VW antifreeze, but if your prepared to change it every two years, you can use other manufacturers.
Well done. I’m not sure I’d recommend removing injectors, for that job, though. So much that can go wrong with that. Probably better to pop down to Halfords and get the funny shape spanner, to reach around them. Luckily, you seem to have got away with it, so props to you for getting it fixed. I have the electrical knowledge to be able to test them in situ, so I would only replace the ones that are out of spec, but if you had a non start there’s a good chance that they’re all dead. Even one working plug will allow it to fire and run badly, which isn’t what you describe. Going forward, try to avoid multiple cycles of the glow plugs. They’re not meant for that and will burn out quickly. When the light goes out, the first time, you should be able to start right away. On a particularly cold day, after sitting for days, a second cycle before starting can be helpful, but don’t do it regularly.
I agree, I didn’t want to go near the injectors but that’s were I really took my time, I tried to keep the video short but I did invest in two torque wrenches and I already owned a Halfords advanced tool set which I bought last year. The right tools do make a difference though. Thanks for the comment and for watching
90s VWs were actually cleverly designed to allow access to the service bits. They have removable panels on most models, sometimes including the radiator(s), to give access to the stuff you’re likely to have to change. Of course, specific tools are likely to be needed, which not every diyer will have, like ratcheting spanner’s, or crows foot wrenches. More recent examples are truly designed to make life awkward for mechanical repair people. I genuinely think they have “Step 1: Remove vehicle “ in the official service manual for most tasks.
I could never have attempted that on my new car, wouldn’t even know how to bleed the water system for a start. I will stick to the easy jobs but anything major, he’ll be right off the garage, Thankyou for your comment and for taking the time to watch my video.
Ps why did it not start did you try a starting fluid
Ps why did it not start did you try a starting fluit
If you can't see the part and you have never done it go to a local garage but sound them out first .
I had a garage who I really could trust, as it’s 31 years old when I first got it, I felt the early work I had done I was being taken advantage of. Then for the past 6 years I had a garage being fair. Also , the AA used starting fluid but I’m not a fan of using it all the time. It’s all worked out well for me, for now, thanks for watching
I was always told the best conversation you will ever have is with yourself. 🤣 Been looking for your channel for a while Eric the stuff you do with George is quality. 👏 The signs in the St Helens video done the trick. 🤣
Thankyou for the nice comments. Yes, I’ve decided to try something different and post the stuff on here that I don’t do with George, while I will still be out and about with him regularly, I feel duplicating the videos wasn’t something I was committed to. The signs in St Helens was funny, he does put up with a lot from me. Please let me know what you think on the content and what you’d like to see me get upto.
@@anerickayesproduction2627 I understand you don’t want to “duplicate” but your videos will always be different because it’s your personality that shines through. I enjoyed this video tbh.
@ Thankyou for thoughts, you maybe right,George and Adam also seem to agree with the videos show my side of the explore.maybe I’ll have a rethink. Appreciate your comments, Thankyou for watching

Stunning Eric! When was this?
@@BambiSelect last night mate, really enjoyed it, will put full video up soon.
The concrete looks like wood from the plywood shuttering formwork used to pour the concrete. Its taken the wood grain effect from the ply. I noticed that on Georges video. Nice find Eric 👍
@@andy123law cheers mate, yes when I tapped it I realised it was concrete, really glad you enjoyed it.
Good fimd that one Eric 👍
Brilliant that Eric. I thought them tunnels would have gone further still boss tho
Cheers mate
Great video. Is this the bridge at Chisenhale Street?

Tbh at first i thought it was a drone
How boss is that?
It was mate, George didn’t fancy it😂😂😂
Beautiful sharing 🙏🙏🙏👍
I ❤ lizards!
Hi Eric! Thanks again for the insight into your journey! With the pain meds, I've learned to set my alarm for that middle of the night dose. So much easier than trying to catch up. 💜 dawn
Yes stay on top of the painkillers, another mistake I made was with my anti sickness later in my treatment. I hope your doing well.
@@anerickayesproduction2627 yes, I thought that I didn't need the anti nausea meds if I didn't feel sick. Now I take them every day no matter what! Had chemo yesterday. Feeling quite poorly today. 💜
Thank you for putting yourself out there. You didn't let your family down at all. Just got home from an 8 1/2 hour chemo treatment. So tired but I can't sleep from all the steroids. Thanks Eric. I'm feeling the way you are in this video right now, like I let my family down. 💜dawn
I used to call it chemo tired, as you’ll see when I did mine, one day at a time. Life doesn’t stop, but you know that, you’ll figure out how to do this in your own way. I know the feeling of not being bothered to do anything but thinking back now, fluids is the key. Also as I found, you aren’t letting anyone down, everyday you battle this you are making them proud.
Eric, I have a very similar attitude. Most people would ask "why me?" I think of the young children who have cancer and I say "why NOT me?" Im just facing it one day at a time. Trying to keep a positive attitude. 💜
Hi Dawn, that’s the best attitude, positive. Even when sometimes things don’t go to plan, you can still find a positive in there somewhere. Hope your feeling better, and keep smiling.
My surgery was scheduled for noon. It started at 6:15. Had an amazing surgeon and I thank her for my life!
That’s exactly what I did with all the team who took care of me, I don’t think I could ever show them what they’ve done for me means. They are exceptional people.
Hi Eric. I'm here on a recommendation from George. I'm the one who sent him coffee money and he shouted me out on a video you're in with him, joking about him not actually buying you coffee. Lol! I'm currently in the hospital because my chemo session last week is kicking my butt. George said you went through chemo so I'm here to learn about your journey and distract myself from mine. ❤
Hello Dawn, I’m sorry to hear your in hospital and hopefully you’ll be strong enough to get home soon. As you know, I was normally on George’s channel mucking around but 18 months ago I was given the news we all dread. Now my videos aren’t upto the standard your used to,talking directly into a camera was harder than I thought.😂 but I thought I’d document the best way I could what I was going through and maybe help someone along the way. Chemo sucks and is possibly one of the hardest things a person has to go through, but as you’ll see, it’s doable, and I’m now just a little over a year after finishing it.Feel free to contact me anytime, ask me anything and remember, one day at a time, your stronger than you think, believe me I know. Eric.
@@anerickayesproduction2627 ❤️ thank you! I truly appreciate your kindness! I'll make sure George gets you a coffee, lol.
@@dawnmagee3354 your welcome, just concentrate on getting better, keep watching and enjoying what we do.
Hi Eric, little bit of advice l wouldn't go swimming in that pool 👍
Oh no😂😂😂I won’t
I mean some alligators are more likely not to harm you unless there salt waters😂
Look up dr wons anti cancer smoothie on UA-cam. That is the strongest anti cancer remedy in the world along with organic garlic. Good luck.

Hi Eric, That's great news. As you said, the NHS does a great job. You certainly been on a journey, as I most likely mentioned before. Thanks for sharing your you story it would have been difficult at times for you, but hay hear we our well done 👏
Thanks Martin, The NHS is a jewel we must protect vigorously for generations to come. The debt I owe all the people who have treated me and helped me through this I could never repay. Thankyou for watching and commenting it helped a lot. So until the next tests and checkups,I think we’ll have some adventures😃
Brilliant new Eric so made up for u take care
Thankyou for your support, yes please with how things are going.
Good to meet you on your first day back the other week You done amazing getting through the cancer mate well done
Yes, good to meet you aswell Andy, Thankyou for kind words mate, but I can’t take all the credit, I had a Fantastic family and a good team of people who have been helping get through it so far.
Hi Eric you been on a long journey and really appreciate sharing your blog you have done so well, I also am enjoying your videos stay safe thanks 👍
Thankyou Martin, looking back everything seems to have passed so so fast, but at the time everything seem to be dragging.I now hope I can take this channel and fill it with all the fun stuff. Thanks for your support and watching.
i miss you mate the banter . i ask always george about you . your great man seen you soon mate 👍
Hello mate, good news, I’m back on the 1st August so the all the banter will start again. Be good to see you and all the lads again.
Hi Eric sorry you have some horrible days hopefully better days ahead you will be soon back to normal, you probably know but when you go to see the dentist isn't it capped by a band system so you should get all your treatment for fixed price, will check your new video out soon thanks Eric 👍
Hi Martin,Yes,they have a fixed price system, I thought I may get something from the system for a change.Should have known, nothing for nothing in this world😆😆.Thankyou for watching.
it was really good to see you on the monday in work.. sorry you wernt feeling too good the following day , but onwards an upwards .. keep smiling m8 👍👍👍
I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Colon Cancer, They cut it out and that was pretty much it for me. They want me to get an occasional CT scan every 1 or 2 years for 5 years and a colonoscopy every year for the first 3 years. then every 3 years. The biggest thing for me to deal with is the depression, the anxiety and just the fact that i had cancer. I've never had to deal with this much raw emotion before in my life, it's overwhelming I had to go on anxiety drugs to help me get through the day.
Hello Kris, Thankyou for your comment. I hope you start feeling better in yourself very soon. We have been told something that in a instant shatters your world, so like my vlog shows, I had no intention of second guessing what the doctors and nurses were telling me, after all, that’s what they do everyday.I think it’s human nature to have the what if thoughts, but to dwell on them will consume the best of us mentally. I have the mentality that now my treatments finished and you said it yourself, the cancer has gone. So today is a good day, small steps my friend, that’s all we can do. I and I also hope you can see that we shouldn’t be waiting for it to come back as, it may never happen. I hope my vlog helps you and maybe your comments can help me and others so please keep intouch. Thankyou for watching.
Great to see you back to your normal self its flew that only seems like yesterday since you got told the news we got loads of mooches to do lets get out there
Yes back to normal, let’s get started on that list😀👍

Hi Eric you really look healthy and you can't beat sitting in the garden with the sun shining feeling the warmth, its really good to have the support of your family and friends etc Won't be long before you be back in work and things will become normal again you been on a journey and near the end of it,staying positive is the key but you know all that anyway cheers 👍
Thankyou Martin, Yes feeling good now considering what my body has had to endure over the last 6 months. I’ve been very lucky with my support. Thankyou for watching
Eric were did you go mate
Hello mate, went here www.broneifion.com/ For a four birth cabin with a hot tub for 5 nights was cheap. Some of the cabins are a little dated but we got one that had just been updated so wasn’t too bad for the price. They have pods there aswell, which are quite new. It’s a family run site so it’s not Darwin escapes standard but we did enjoy it, biggest fish we caught was 15llb, Fishing is £8 a day.
Great to see the support network in place for you Eric - you truly are inspirational. 👍🏻
Hello Michael, good to hear from you mate, hope your well. Onwards and upwards from now mate.
Get your ass back out and get mooching with me Good to see you getting better mate
Hi Eric it's great you're getting so much support out there which is good to hear and having so much information at hand you will be soon out there again flying kites and exploring again keep being positive 👍
Thanks Martin, yes the support is so much more than I expected. Ohh yes the kite is on the list with some proper mooching. Thanks for your support and all the comments.
hi Eric its good to see that your into the last part of your recovery stage .. keep up the good work m8 , fingers crossed that the big C has been beaten, and you never get it again .. chin up an keep that big smile going , all the best m8
Cheers mate, yea hopefully the worse is passed now and I get back to more important things, like spoiling the family and mooching😂😂
