Transport a few dozen million of these back to the year 2000 and you'd see a serious contender in the handheld market. Granted, any modern hand held would dethrone the Gameboy, but this one would seem just like a Sony version of a SEGA Nomad to people back then.

The evolution of these Handheld are insane , went from NES & Sega on a chip 100 in 1 BS , that sounded like poo 💩 , into freaking master pieces. Tho the Miyoo Mini + kinda suck , there no way to play it on a TV , still impressive quality and emu

You should try the new version of the Magic-X v3.2 (the intro logo is white, and without that loud sound), it improves performance (on PSP at least, and I gess in some other plataforms/games). But they did some kind of particular personalization/optimization for each game (and not all of them are included), because even "God of War - Chains of Olympus" runs better than expected for a machine with a RK3326 (or RK3326S), a lot better, they solved a lot of graphical glitches too while improving the performance... the bad thing is that you can't change the ROM/ISO to one from another region, or the improvements are lost (it's a pity that they don't applied the improvements for all regions, I would love to change some ISOs/CSOs to the european ones (multilanguage), I can play in english... but... for the kid, it would be A LOT better in spanish. You can even port that optimization (at least, a part of it) to AmberElec, copying the "gamedata" folder located in the games partition inside the Magic-X microSD to the games partition into the microSD with AmberElec... but... they must have done more improvements/changes, because it is not the same performance (it is lower, a lot, but, it is more playable than without doing it).

My 3 concerns are dose it have 1 "HDMI or AV out" , 2 can a controller or Bluetooth be used , 3 what emu can I play ?

I remember getting 1 of these on eBay in 2011 for 9 bucks , the cartridge where all different Sega Gen/MD games with a few homebrews like Angry birds and Planets vs Zombies . U got ripped or the newer version gotten even worse 😅

I like the colour of this device but for me I’m very happy with my rog ally handheld pc as obviously it can play pc games plus also multiple emulators including: ps3, ps2, GameCube, Wii, psp, Dreamcast, n64, snes, nes, gba, ds, famicom and others. Snes seems pretty easy to emulate so I would say this device is for fans of retro games and especially if they have a lot of snes carts lying around - it is also a very chunky device but I suppose it has to be quite thick to accommodate for the snes cartridges, must say though i love the convenience of the two controller ports on the front which makes it ideal for two player games

i learned to customize the UI and cores on this thing, it's interesting

So it's a larger 35xx plus, with a single joystick....., and I imagine the h700 chipset. Ok after this one, maybe just maybe we can get a handheld that uses something else

After watching this video and doing all the research, a lot of people don’t know about retro handhelds and how much games they hold with these particular models I’m gonna go ahead and pick the R 36S and let you know how it works out for me. It seems like the better one of the 3+ I like the translucent color a lot.
