For a few years, I posted some snippets about DIY, gardening, and farm life.
From today September 2020, I will start posting about challenges I set myself.
Why should one challenge oneself?
TO CHANGE, if there are things you don't like in your life, change them.
If I can do it, you can do it too. I'm just an old dude (52) on youtube.

Thank you! Your the only one I found so far showing how you slice them. That is a cool dehydrator. going to look on your site and see if you have info on that :) I was inclined to cut off that tiny part on the stem but keep the stem on. Wondering if I can dehdrate the entire thing whole as well.
why did you go 1 2 3 4 5, then 1 2 3 4 5 for another side with releasing the spring if you could go 1,2,3,4,5 and then 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 10 on the other side and so on.? that would still make them only 5 turns of a difference and it would save you changing sides few times

Glad it helped, sorry for the let say 'not-so-pro-filming.' 😊 Couldn't find the right wrench, had to go to our neighbors, they live about a mile from our place and when I came back. Well it was dark as you can see.
@@reinhold-vst9499 tell me about it, it took me the best part of the day to do one side, ball joint nut seized, droplinks seized, hadn't got the 18mm Swan neck spanner for the top mounting so had to go and get one, the big nut under that I could not get undone, it was an absolute nightmare, but thanks to your video and the right tools I got it done. Thanks your video was a brilliant help, all the best

Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. We do eat the leaves but not from the plants we want to grow s-p's. It takes too much energy from them and the s-p's are smaller. The leaves are indeed tasty.

They don't look right at all. Good to know as we often have too many eggs in the summer. I think it's ok to freeze them raw. Hope the dog wasn't ill after all those eggs :)
Yes you're right, I did some research and apparently freezing raw eggs is the only way to go. No the dog wasn't ill, I gave him the eggs because, in a way the eggs tasted normal, but the texture felt very strange in my mouth.

No we aren't making fun of David Claerbout, We love his work, we had to drive round trip 150 km/90mi to visit the exhibition. So, we are dealing with this absurd world ridiculing ourselves, as a stoic exercise. 🤓 Maybe we laughing a tiny little bit with the way French people pronounce our names, mine too, if they call me I'm never sure if they're calling me. How do you preserve those slips during winter that you saved for next spring? Thank you
Crystal Tr, thank you for watching our video, and asking this question. As you can see in the video we use two ways to start our new slips. 1: we put them in water, what happens is the first 2 to 3 weeks the roots will grow bigger, but all the leaves will die. When the next generation leaves will start growing we plant the slips in a pot in front of a window. When the leaves have normal size, we take the plants to a cooler place (between 10C/50F and 14C/57F) The growth will slow down, in march we will put the slips in bigger containers and when there's no more danger of frost we plant them in the garden. 2. starting slips from small potatoes, it takes much more time, the slips are always smaller. It is a pleasure to have had an opportunity to interact with you on this subject and I will consider it my privilege to be called in for further clarification, if needed. I'm taking every week some pictures of the progress, and will post a video about the slips next month. You can subscribe and hit the bell if you want to be sure not to miss it. Have a nice day.
