On the journey, not only did he give his beloved queen and two children who accompanied him to the brahmin, but he also gave his own eyes as a gift. Due to this, by the power of the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha), he regained his eyes and could see clearly again. Then, from the brahmin, he received back the queen and his two children. At the end of regaining the precious jewel from the enemy's side, the father king appointed him to the royal seat. This story can be seen in the Tibetan opera Lhamo plays, which are arranged in accordance with the Jataka tales of the Buddha, specifically the Sutra of Arya Prince Siddhārtha. Similarly, in Mon Tawang, the palace of Prince Drime Kündzin can be visited. Due to being considered an incarnation of that bodhisattva prince, his name is sometimes called Lhagyalbu (Divine Prince) or, in Ladakhi dialect, Gyalbu (Prince).
