I am a native to the area and the website and wiki pages are complete lies for the most part. The moat on the inside of the circle is at least 10 feet deep not 5. And there are so many more mounds than are shown on the maps. There are a lot in and outside of the main circle.

So the strange winding carve outs you were noticing are Kangs. Perhaps you know by now. If not, they were heating channels to heat a bed. They’d lay boards across the area. And coals or small fire would heat the area. They are still used today in various places. Great video man. Thank you for sharing 11:49

The reasoning of the British museum and of the British government for keeping the cultural heritage of other people is simply nonsense. It shows a claim of superiority of the British people who are actually saying that other cultures are inferior to theirs and only they can conserve the heritage of other cultures. This is simply crap. It looks that British people have nothing of value to contribute to world heritage and need to steel artefacts from all over the world to populate their museums. SHAME! They are saying that the Greek culture is inferior to their culture. They are saying that the Greeks are not worthy enough to take care of their own cultural heritage. British people you did not have to suffer the invasion of the Ottomans. You stole the Parthenon marbles taking advantage of adverse circumstances suffered by the Greeks. NOW it is time to remedy. RETURN WHAT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU TO THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS. KEEP COPIES OF THEM IN YOUR MUSEUMS IF YOU WANT. RETURN WHAT YOU STOLE TO THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS. GROW UP! ABANDON YOUR CLAIM OF SUPERIORITY AND BECOME A MEMBER OF THE WORLD COMMUNITY. .

How hidden the history often is to us, passers by...I do hope you got to see the inside of the church, the magnificent original late 13th century frescoes and mid 14th century ones, including the only known representation, albeit heavily damaged one, of one of the most epic and tragic heroes of the late 14th century struggle against the Ottoman invasion (if you visit the British Museum in London you'll see a wonderfully weaved belt of his father Branko). You couldn't even imagine the immense importance of the historical figures who've stepped on those steps, and unfortunately, I don't see locals doing much to help you/us understand it...

This country was once greatly populated by the natives. It was largely smallpox and the other European diseases that depopulated the natives. When Custer battles the Sioux, he was in contact with a depleted race. It was numbers that caused the demise of the great nations. That area, I think, was also the capital of the Shawnee.

Hello Scott . I want to bring you back to frame 1.32 & focus on the crack on the block .You see the outer shell how it's weathered but.... where it has broken off , the material inside is different can you see what i'm referring to? the small pieces of different stones .You know what cement rendering looks like right ! Now look at the block on the left ,flat cut straight edge stone & the cracks on the stone underneath that . This site is much older & another group of people built on top of what was already there but.....couldn't copy the block work exactly .The example is frame 6.47 Look at the block work where you are standing to where the block work below is .& how un even the top of that structure is. The original builders were perfectionist as to the new comers slapped together. If you walked down to those steps at thee bottom i bet there would have been 2 different styles done.I'm no expert ,I'm just like you curious on who/how /when these people built thee structures & for what purpose . I don't believe our time line fits into the 6,000 yrs period , It goes way back further than that ! To many ancient sites around the world Built these Ancient block work for a reason .& everywhere i see these sites are where Earth quakes happen .Not all blocks were cut from stone ,Some Ancients used Geo-polymers .I hear it in your voice i kinda believe him but something feels a bit off on what he's saying. The more you look ,the more you'll start to see ,not All it what we are told .I found your content very interesting & will continue to follow your adventures ! You have my sub.
