Make Noise STO | Pressure Points | Turing Machine | Verbos Multi-Envelope | Supercell
I haven't had much time to play with the modular recently. I did have a few modules in a small case that were fun to patch quickly. Nice to be limited. The STO sounds so good. I really need to explore it more.

I'm really interested in the precise cv control of cv B on the er101. Seemed like a good way to play with it today. The Time Machine can come to a crawl or go into madness if wanted. The VC Resonant EQ has such lovely bell tones for this test. I need to dig in more.

Sometimes things turn out different than conceived. I got lost in this for a little while. That's a good thing. Using a complex oscillator this way was tricky for my ears. I enjoyed the confusion of knowing if sides were in tune with each other. When things swirl and fade and delay, lovely moments reveal themselves.

Not sure where my mind was today. A little fuzzy and scattered. Started with a 6 tea sequence on the Moskwa. Then plugged a few LFO's and Random Voltages into the CVP. I enjoyed plugging in and out when it felt right. This was a live mess about with some level peaks and gritty moments. This was a good meditation for me.

I just had time for a quick patch before work and fell into this lazy piece. Calm in areas, but surrounded with clicks and clacks. Amazing how much comes out of the Spectraphon. Parts find a lovely place in headphones.

Here is the last half of a recording this morning. It started out rather rough. And then something just aligned. Brought the tempo down, offset a sequence that was transposing the Moskwa, and then through some FX. Sometimes I need these kind of moments to clear some headspace. Eurorack Modular is fascinating.

Just a moment enjoying the Verbos Bark Filter. I could get lost in it, which is needed sometimes.

This is the last few minutes of a meandering afternoon with the Telharmonic. It's not the easiest module to tame, but worth the time when things align. It's a dreamy moment to me, where I can zone out a bit in subtle changes.

I'm loving this sound. It's just a quick dirty test. Pinging this bandpass filter is heavenly. I also really enjoy the lubadh as a quick delay option. I only really used it since it was right next to it. Such a good out of sync delay.

Sometimes a module can add so much and make you think about better patching. I recently purchased a Sidecar and Soundstage and couldn't be happier with the results. This was a quick first touch that ended up firing up the Supercell. That's a module I have struggled with creatively, but this little moment gave me a better understanding of how to use the size and shape control. I also really enjo...

I enjoyed this peaceful moment. I find the voltage multistage ever surprising. I think I am getting to a comfortable place with the addition of Tea's Mapvolt attenuator. It's a great match with the sequence selector. Can't say enough about the multi-delay and bark filter. So lovely together.

I was just about to move some modules around and then decided to just spend a few minutes with the QMMG. I tend to patch it in LPG mode most of the time, but wanted to hear some filtered crispiness. Beautiful!
Fantasticly performed piece of modular magic
That’s super kind of you. Thanks for taking the time to listen.
Yes, small systems are essential now and again. 😊 It can sometimes take me 4 weeks or more to put something together on a larger system.. 😮
Totally fun to mess with a small system. A great way for me to look at under used modules.
Nice patch! I love how you use the different timbres and textures of the STO, do you also modulate the shape knob or is it the enveloppes only?
Thanks for checking it out. Row three of pressure points modulated the shape a little bit. Good fun.
Beautiful patch! <3 Particularly love the slow, floaty bits. How do you like Supercell, BTW??
Thanks so much. The supercell is a lot of fun. I like having the clouds functions with dedicated knobs. A lot more to learn about.
nice video I just liked and subscribed..sounds great.. not sure if I need.. have Magneto, Nautilus and a bunch of other delays.. it's criminal that it doesn't have CV inputs for each delay line
It sits among a few other delays in my system, but has very different strong points. The lack of stage cv has never bothered me. I really like the cv time control alongside the clock.
@@ElaineSynth .. I will have to read the manual.. thanks Professor
beautiful
Very kind of you to give it a listen. Thanks.
I'm getting my 2024 addition today - so stoked!
Congrats. It’s so lovely. It was exciting at the make noise shop in Asheville last weekend. Have fun.
😊 delightful❤
Thanks so much. I still dig the Bard Quartet.
So beautiful; wonderfully restrained 👌
Glad you enjoyed it Probbie.
Awesome patch!
Thanks so much for listening. It was a fun patch.
Sounds awesome! I dig these soundscape explorations. Good work. Thanks for sharing. Hey, what’s your opinion of the OAM Time Machine? Cheers.
Thanks. I really love the Time Machine. I was sequencing the clock times last night and it was really fun and precise. Nice to be able to change the taps like that during a patch. I’ll post a video soon showing that.
Wonderful 😊
Thanks Probbie. It was a fun patch.
❤
I appreciate you giving it a listen.
Great 3:27 harp vibes. Koto maybe
Thanks. I can hear that koto reference for sure. It was a happy accident.
Really enjoyed that. I'm looking through LEM218v3 vids for controller to go with my TKB to use with my Bugbrand system and this vid was one of the best.
Thanks so much. Kind of you to listen. I really like the lem218v3. It has a lot of options under the hood as well.
It brings you in as it surrounds You. Quite Lovely
Lovely comment. Thanks for listening.
what a journey I thank you for this and I grant you my subscription
I appreciate you giving it a listen. I really enjoyed that Modular moment.
Wonderfully sparse and beautiful 😊
Thanks Probbie. I really didn’t want to unpatch this one.
those are amazing modules.. great performance
I appreciate that very much. Have you tried the Gilbert module? I also like his Duophonic Distribution module. Pretty interesting.
@@ElaineSynthI didn’t try it but looks interesting
KOOL!😎... I need 2 try that w/ my WMD Axys controlling the FX inputs of Hector Poly & ZOIA! 🦋✨👽
Go for it. I bet that would be rad. So much fun to explore the possibilities.
Wonderful piece.
Wow. Thanks so much for listening. There’s so much more to explore.
Totally wonderful 😊
Thanks Probbie. I always appreciate your time.
I'm glad to hear spectraphone... here.. a very complex module. I had it, but I finally was not able to extract all of its potential..
I find it difficult to find a sweet spot myself. I should dig deeper into the settings for sure.
Verbos for life ♥️🙏❤️
Mad Verbos love.
Amazing work, the arrangement is spot on
Very kind of you. I was surprised where it ended up. I need to learn more about the control voltage processor.
What a beautiful electronic symphony 😊
Very very kind of you. I enjoyed the moment.
So gooooood 😊
Thanks Probbie. Happy to see you gave it a listen.
KOOL!👽
Thanks. A sleepy one.
I'm loving this. 😊
Thanks. A lovely filter to get lost in.
Yep, Epic+1 a real sonic journey.
Thanks for giving it a listen. So many lovely areas in the bark filter.
this is epic.. I love how the track evolves in the end
Wow. Thanks so much. I love the interesting directions this module can travel.
Looks like someone didn’t want to use up 60 hp in their rack! :) Cool jam. You inspired me to spend my next 880 learning time on its trigger outputs.
Thank you for sharing :)
I appreciate you taking the time to check it out.
Spacey and fun!!✨✨✨
Cool. Glad you enjoyed it. It was fun to explore.
Lovely stuff. A lot of similar musical ideas to what I do ❤
Thanks so much. I’ll have to check out some of your music.
@@ElaineSynth We seem to have the same taste in modules too: Verbos, L-1, Time Machine, QMMG... Chance Delay is an amazing pair for L-1 Dual VC ADSR, opens it up so much.
Flipping wonderful..😊
Thanks Probbie. Such a strange and beautiful module.
oh yes. lot of nuances from tlehmarmonic. nice shot
There are some sweet spots to discover in the telharmonic for sure. Takes me a bit to find them. Thanks for listening.
❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍
Thanks for giving it a listen. A lovely module.
Really nice sequence. I love how the CO sounds like an electric guitar at done spots and bells at others.
Thanks. I agree. The CO seems to find those subtle spots. Love it.
I close my eyes and drift into a sea of tranquility, saved from the vortex of my sorrows, freed into the cosmos for all the universe to hold. Music is healing. Music is love.
Whoa. Thanks for spending some time in this slow moment. I agree. Music/sound is healing.
This moves ME.... So good m'friend. 😊
Happy to hear you enjoyed this slow moment.
What do you think about the SIDECAR Module as using it for VCA's or do you use it as a Mixer only? I'm looking for a Multiple VCA/MIXER Module and SIDECAR seems to have what I want, especially the 6 faders. The Sounds you created in this video were amazing, near the end you made some ghostly ethereal types of breathy sounds which were just incredible!💥🎶🎛👏🏽🔥🌠🐈⬛🌌🌛❗️
That’s so kind of you. The sidecar is one of my favorite modules. I mostly use it as separate vcas going to the soundstage. The sliders just feel great. I’ve just started exploring sending copies out to different fx with VCA controlled by ochd. I appreciate you checking out the video.
Beautiful!
Very kind of you. Thanks for checking it out.
Love the hypnotic and uplifting vibe of this! ✨🙏🏼🕊️🌀🎶
Thanks so much. The resonator module is super fun to play with.

BITCHIN'!😎 I have The WMD METRON myself, STILL tryin' 2 fathom it -It's DEEP!🦋✨👽
It’s really deep. I dig it for controlling sequences. I need to dig in for sure.
@@ElaineSynth The instructional videos WMD put out are helpful 4 sure -but I have 2 play each lesson SEVERAL TIMES because he moves REALLY fast 4 MY slow ass! Too bad they went outta business!😿
Flipping epic!! 😊
Thanks Probbie. Just saw your mangrove video. Really nice sounds.
Amazing! Was really close to pulling the trigger on a different delay module, but the @halocene_electronics Non-linear Memory Machine is really feeling like more exactly what I was looking for. :the
Cool. It’s definitely a unique module. I like when it can repeat an entire phrase of notes vs. just delay them. Have fun and thanks for checking the video out.
Beautiful piece…awesome rig and magical lighting….mesmerizing flowing space.
Wow. Thanks so much. I was just watching one of your elmyra videos. Lovely stuff.
