Greetings, Click on "Update model with Changes" next to RUN and all the changes will be updated simultaneously.
I have a composite model, with one table using AAS as a live connection and another table imported from SharePoint. When I create a relationship between these tables, it results in a weak relationship. When I try to change the storage mode of some tables to dual mode, the option is grayed out. How can we avoid the weak relationship using the dual model option?
Very nice. Thank you sir!

If we select anything in date range in PowerBI Desktop before publishing then it will be saved with those selections. I think one of the options to reset to maximum range it is to switch into "After" mode and then to "Between" and save it.
MFSTA REALLY. Needs to fix this because I don’t want current period I want the month. They just need to add default options
thank you! working good...but how I can do to allow it only to xlsx files?
Glad it's working! Sorry for the delay here. To specify a file type, you can use the "Get files (properties only)" action and specify the Filter Query field as "File_x0020_Type eq 'xlsx'", or you can replace the 'xlsx' with whatever file extension you're wanting to focus in on. This action would get added prior to the "Create file" action but within the same "For each" loop function.
But imagine I want to close the dashboard with some date, but when I open the dashboard I want to display the current date. Is that possible?
@@andrealemao2514 Not sure I understand the question! Happy to respond if you provide a bit more context.
thank you, I think you explained it really well.
@@amalia940 thanks! I’m glad it was helpful
Awesome! =)
Good video dear 👍
Side note I’ve also tested another way for ensuring the end date updates through yesterday or today. In this approach, you can use any date field from fact or dim table and use the “in the last” relative date approach at the page or report level. Combine it with a “is on or after” a specified date if you don’t want anything related to the start date to change in your report.
very useful video!
Thank you! Really good my dude!
Where do you license your intro music from?
It’s my own band’s music!
Thank you for this. I was working on these today. I'm a newbie to this and struggled my way through but I will go back and use your formulas.
Glad you found it helpful!

Note the third party visual "Image Pro by Cloudscope" indicates that a license is required, but once I publish to the Service it seems to work fine without one. This allows for much more customization around the image sizing, whereas the table or matrix is limited in this way.
Very Information video, if you have provided the excel and pbx file it will be useful for us to practice and learn.
Very basic solution

Thank you for that video 👏 Do you know how to apply it to a ”between” slicer? For example last week I wanted to have on my slicer a period 01.01.2024-31.03.2024 as a default period, but today it should update to 01.01.2024-30.04.2024 as default. How to obtain that?
There is no way, as far as I know
@@baci1423 Let me know if this solution would work for you! ua-cam.com/video/1_qjZwpUtmg/v-deo.htmlsi=QVaPRF-zDViNH2zy

Oh wow, so informative! Thank you Mr. Jacob

A note on solution # 3 (DAX measure): The below DAX formula will return the accurate results within the rows of a matrix or table, while displaying blank cells for the ORDERNUMBER and ORDERLINENUMBER results. However, the total at the bottom of your matrix or table (or total if you are using a card) does not exclude order # 10107 with the grouped negative value due to how the evaluation context is handled, resulting in an incorrect total. This is where I got stuck and was unable to build all the logic into a single measure. TotalOrderSalesMeasure = var sum_sales = calculate ( sum ( sales_data_sample[SALES] ), ALL (sales_data_sample ), GROUPBY(sales_data_sample, distinct_sales_data[ORDERNUMBER]) ) return if ( sum_sales > 0, sum ( sales_data_sample[SALES] ), "" )
Nice job
