Carried my new 2.0 back to Sam's Club for a refund. I now have a Cuisinart ss770 and it works with any Kcups. Done with Keurig.

I'm wanting to get this newer model, but all the reviews about not being able to use old kcups is ridiculous. But... now that I've watched your video, I am totally going for it. I'll feel artsy crafty every morning I hack my coffee machine.

I would take it back as defective. There is no reason to support a company that cares so little about you, as their customer, that they're willing to do this to you.

Do NOT apologies for the FU to Keurig. Between my 2 offices and homes I must have purchased 8 or 9 of their products and think they're great. But this was plain and simply a scumbag move (probably conceived by their marking company) for them to push more of their expensive unremarkable coffee. I now have boxes of great Kcups that i can no longer use.

You get the "oops" message with some K- Cups that ARE Keurig brand if they were manufactured prior to January 2014. Ridiculous that you have to go through this BS to get them to work.

Thanks for this info. It worked!!! Keurig swears this feature is only used to figure out if you have the bigger pod in there. When I called bullshit on this, since you have to remove the pods holder making the brewer now able to use the bigger K-cup, they offered me one free box even though I just purchased two 22 count boxes directly from them that will not work in the new machine.

There is a easy way cut the kcup corner with writing and tape it up in the brewer in the left side back were the sensor is easy
