I think Chelsea was lucky here as per this analysis.
It has nothing to do with luck it's just a simple side effect of an unperfected chelsea system at the defense even tho the attack was superb.

Few things I would like to see in Liverpools do. 1. Using Alison as the third man while building up giving LFC numerical advantage 2. At some point in the game introducing Bradley and moving TAA more centrally. I like the aggressive runs of Bradley. 3. Trying Jota on the right wing and Nunez as the lone striker. 4. Playing Gakpo on the left wing. 5. Giving Ben Doak, Trey Nyoni and Bajcetic game time.

Just make a centre-back play in the holding midfield position when in possession of the ball, not a full-back but a centre-back, How Guardiola does and we will be okay. James can't be the inverted WB. He needs to be crossing the ball. Cucurella looks solid at inverted WB
if James isn't the inverted wb, he'll have to form the 3 man cb, which is even more limited for him. as the inverted wb, he can make those Kdb-esque underlap/overlap runs to make those crosses on the byline
