Hey, I'm still using cheaper watercolors, and mix some of the new ones. Even today I was thinking of buying a cheap watercolor set for 10$ in tubes (12 colors). As I'm not on that level of color mixing and values yet, I only can see a little bit difference in pigments (stronger pigments vs cheaper ones). I'm still looking for my own watercolor setup (which colors I need to have and I will use the most and then I can mix on) - but for now I'm continuing to use Artecho and Schmincke.

Yes I was thinking of making longer videos, but my editing itch comes along and I think "Ah this will be boring for people to watch", so I usually cut a lot ...but thanks for the comment so I can do it properly in the future ❤️

@@ColoringIntrovert No need to think of anything complicated. You could edit a shorter version with music (as you have it now). And just have the raw, unedited version without music for curious beings like me.

@@ColoringIntrovert That's great. I do pen and watercolor sketches, too, so I love experimenting and working with various materials. After seeing your video, I want to try a similar sketch with a stone wall (which I've not done before). I love quaint cottages and old buildings, places that are vintage in nature. I've only tried gouache once but the set was not quality so it didn't give me a good impression, but I've seen very good results with gouache. Good luck with your experimenting and future sketches and please share all you want!

Yep I was lurking Arches in my local art shop, currently above my budget as I'm unemployed after 21 years of work, and I know Arches it's the best....Also, I would be afraid of ruining it with my dribbles...maybe I will write to Santa ("my wife") 🤷‍♂️👏👏🤶

Interesting ❤ I only use the Lamy fountain pens until now.
