FACTOID: Stewart is a lefty playing on a kit configured for a right-handed drummer. Being able to lead with his left limb gives Stewart a decided edge on his righty counterparts. He is indeed a great drummer who is comfortable performing in any genre. The wor d that best describes his approach to the percussive arts is: multi-faceted. ❤

His pace here is complimentary. His work in the Police was much more, "catch up, mfers!"

Master level drummer. I instantly fell in love with the Miss Gradenko song the first time I heard it when the album came out. Cool orchestra version.

Stewart gave the rhythm to The Police , for sure without him could be a success but not huge like it is.

Stewart Copeland give music some of the greatest drum recordings of all time! Message In a Bottle, Walking On The Moon and Everything She Does to name a few! However Stewart, this isn't one of them!! From a hard core Copeland fan (Miles and Stewart!!!)

Everyone acknowledges Sting, yeah he's cool but Copland formed the mastery! The live performance of Wrapped Around Your Finger as a drummer is genius! If you're not entertained by that I don't know.

Copeland plays the hats like licky pussing well

Sting got a little, shall we say indulgent, by the time Synchronicity rolled around. Stewart's song sounds so much less dated than Sting's stuff. At the time this tune was a throwaway on the album, but now I think it's the best song. And I totally get why they used a sax in place of Andy Summer's fantastic guitar work.

Guitar player and bassist are good but definitely not in the zone as Stewart
