Swift SUCKS, I worked for them for a month! That was enough for me, poor communication from management, leave you stranded without any fuel, in the middle of summer in El Paso Texas where the temps would only go down into the 70 between 5- 6 am and then the temp went right back up to 100, the pay absolutely SUCKed and so do they, STAY AWAY!!!

7 hours before they pay you detention pay? Shouldn't that be 2 - 3 hours

I've only heard bad stories about their drivers not being educated on how to handle "trucking" situation. I'm guessing people assume that all the drivers are like this

They obviously have some good drivers or they wouldn't be in business. Just seems every time the fuel lane is blocked...or a semi is parked illegally...or hammer lane is blocked Swift is the culprit.

The benefit at SWIFT is there are no inward facing cameras.

I drove for Swift for 8 months, I had no issues with Swift. Only downside was slow freight in the northeast spring/summer 2023 and I kept getting stuck up there, not getting decent miles.

Overall, SWIFT is an awesome company to work for. The issue comes from the individual drivers that may be doing stupid things. Now for the people that “dog” SWIFT, I think they’re the ones with issues, especially if they have never worked for the company a day in their life.

But other than that was a good company to work for

Well when I used to be over the road p Swift trucks with only do 55 mph and a lot of drivers crash because they would be tired because they was tired of driving 55 mph trying to get to their destination before the clock runs out
