Hey guys im from los angeles calif,then denver ,but im going alone to long island,as im an automotive/aircraft tech.Will I like it there,its got to be better than boulder colorado,what a piece o crap.ive got to get to the biggest cities in the country,tell me what you guys think.and im pretty skilled and dirt poor.

The NYC area is neighborhood by neighborhood. If you take the subway 10 stops or more you see craziness. If you only go four stops from 86 Street to Union Square you may not. If you go from Rockaway to Broadway Junction it may be an issue

People are leaving in droves. But we have 9 million in the city. We can lose 3 million and still be crowded. We just got 150,000 migrants so those who moved have been replaced

Riverdale is actually cheap compared to what the same property would cost in LI or Westchester

1:54 I live in suffolk county. Great place. Ronkonkoma has a lake that I don’t recommend going to but its biggest in the island. Every year 1 man dies in that lake, my mom’s friend died there once. The Hampton and pat house are nice and rich, smith point to the Long Island Sound, but the cons. Yes yes, the cons. Long Island is known for its tales, stories, both true and fake. The lady of the lake ronkonkoma, the Brookhaven labs, and the montauk project. The montauk project is literally stranger things, it sparked the idea of it. There were physics, the radios were buggy, there was a lab with a gigantic antenna, but there were no upside down. Sometimes you have to use your imagination. Overall, Long Island is a 8.5 out of ten. I recommend it but just know what you’re doing.

Suggestion: You should film 222nd Street starting from Linden all 4 blocks going toward Cambria Heights Park ...especially 222nd Street from Linden to 119th Avenue are the most beautiful of the larger Tudors. My block has the only {2} Tudors that has the drive way garage in the house 118-16 222nd Street. Understanding that our house was the 1st or among the 1st ever built...not sure of that information. 22nd starting from Linden to 119th Avenue have the large tree lined streets. I would love for you to record the opposite side of Linden to Cambria Heights Park to the Cemetary.

My family moved to 115-34 217 Street in 1956. My parents paid a whole $6500 for our house! I went to PS 147, JHS 59 and AJHS. I keep saying I'll go back for a visit one of these days, but as of now, I haven't.

Centerport doesn’t have a school system. They go to Greenlawn schools. Northport is above them. And Mariah Carey went to Northport elementary schools. The Centerport Yaght club is in Huntington Village. Top Five as I have lived out here decades and work as a float in healthcare traveling to communities every day out here. Also raised my kids out here. Not in any particular order. Everyone has their preferences. Northport. Miller Place, Mattituck/Cutchogue, Southampton, Amagansett

I grew up on Beechurst, on Powell's cove 40+ years ago and I am here to say it is just as nice as my memories. That is a rarity these days. Great bideot

Spuyten Duyvil is not in the south or southwestern part of the Bronx. It makes up the area in North Western Bronx alongside Riverdale and Fieldston. They are all next to each other and are physically detached from the rest of the boro once you go up either hill on west 241st. street. These places are absolutely nothing like the rest of the boro. You might as well be in a well-heeled Suburb in Connecticut. Beautiful and expensive. Riverdale doesn't even consider itself part of the Bronx. Send mail to anyone who lives there and the address is listed as "Riverdale, New York".

It's crazy how our parents were able to buy homes with one income but now we need to to shackle up with 3-4 roomies just just to buy an overpriced home. And with the rental laws in New York, you're basically giving up free housing if you decide to rent out one of the units.
